Amazing video!! We put a lot of effort into getting this one right. After buyers made the OG one of the best selling knives of 2023, we knew we had to step it up on this one. We even improved the OG models across the board after getting this where we wanted it. Although there will be a few small adjustments to the final version, they are quite minimal to say the least. Looks like a good option to tuck into my running shorts for heading out on the trail. I wonder if a wire clip would work better for that application though.
If you like the wire clip, check out the original Scythe. Micarta and liner lock instead of titanium frame lock but it has a reversible wire pocket clip 👌🏼
Normally I’d agree, I think sharpening choils on defensive blades especially can be a hinderance when retracting the knife out of an organic medium, but this one is fairly shallow and angled in a way that I don’t think it will hang up too much. If anything, the flipper tab might get sucked in and stuck but that’s just the game you play with flippers or pointed guards.
