Help me out here! What do you prefer when it come to the Zodiac or do you like the Xpride better. I can't decide and I seem to like the looks of both but I rather pay a little more if the Xpride is better.
You want a faster tip for fishing jigs, this is more of a deep cranking or chatterbait rod. You can do it but especially if you're contacting bottom, you will miss the sensitivity of the faster tips
I have a question. I’m like Alex Davis and I fish the Tennessee River and Lake Guntersville and I’m looking for some rods to invest in. I’m looking at the Expride line but what rods to use is where I’m confused. I do worms, casting jigs, pitching jigs, and frogs. Can someone tell me what rods I need to invest in?
I’m really interested in the casting med lite + , would that be a pretty well all around rod for shaky heads , senko, other soft plastics, buzz baits , and finesse jigs ?
A new curado 50-70 size!?! Or are you mentioning the aldebaran 50 mgl?. But let me tell you one thing with the 7’”2’ med lt+ is a bit long of rod for me for finesse applications imo. I have a expride and zodias rod all I can say is there the best rods for the money hands down, which no rod comes close.
GrandFishing they are going with a price friendly BFS reel. Scorpion bfs came out last year in japan it’s a curado Equivalent. 7,2” is long considering most bfs rods are 6’9” or shorter with a UL or L rating
WHATS THE NEW REEL? PLEASE let it be a compact Curado, Metanium, or Chronarch MGL. Would lose my mind over a Curado K 70 MGL. Would be even more excited to see a Chronarch MGL 50. Better hurry up and make something badass Daiwa if you want to keep me as a customer...
I don’t care who said what, it is a must to use a spinning rod for Drop shot, wacky rigging weightless senko also a must, how many times a day I had the senko fly off making a hard cast and ended up with the worst backlash, and the same thing with the drop shot, you can not cast As hard or as far with a bait-caster rod as I can with a spinning in the same size like a 7’2”. If you are a Pro Fisherman and don’t like using spinning rods, it’s like a mechanic who doesn’t like using his brain, and uses the wrong tool for the wrong application or the job. Other then that, those rods are awesome 👏😎🎣🎣🎣
Buba Loui spinning rod and reel set up for wacky and drop shot fishing is consistent and you can use super light line like 6lb leader with 10lb braid backing and never worry about Backlash. There is no casting reel on the market that doesn’t back lash, and even then a spinning will cast further and perhaps even more accurately for placing your baits in a hand full of places again consistently. When I bass fish I make hundreds of casts and every cast counts for me. I own 40 rods total half bait casting and 95 percent of my rods are bass fishing rods from 6’6 to 7’6. I also have a friend who is allergic to spinning rods and reel and pays the price every time we are out on the water, and he has every G loomis NRX and Shimano DC reels I have ever seen. I guess it’s a personal preference, but for professional bass fishing consistency matters a lot and ability to back reel on a spinning set up at times. Hand feed line like Iconelli 😁😎🎣🎣🎣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 good luck to everyone and GOD Bless you all 🙏🎄🇺🇸
D-Smooth Fishing TV have you ever tried an aldebaran bfs? Seems like something you might want to try if you ever have the chance. I love it and it can handle stupid light baits with no problem that or the original Daiwa pixy which could no joke accurately cast a paper clip farther than most reels can with standard lures
