I like the machine but I wish the controller was better. I would like to have one and put a Centroid controller on it. So much more flexibility and expansion options.

What is the retractable dust hose sling you have? I have been trying to find something like that and I can not find one.

@@chrisgraham5185 Chris, I couldn't find anything either, so I designed and 3D printed (carbon fiber nylon) the perfect sling. If you want the file to print one let me know. I will also put a 3D printed copy on my website. Thanks! Rob

I just went to the shop to check on a couple 3-D prints in progress and looked up the sling... now I remember why I didn’t make it available for purchase.… it uses $40 worth of carbon fiber filament and takes 22 hours to print 😳 I will still put it out there for sale in case someone really needs one but printing it with PLA would be a lot cheaper. Email me and I will send you the files. I just don’t want to release it for free out to the world. RobLittle@Little-Enterprises.com

Hey random question, but what is that reel you use to hold up the flex DC hose above the machine? I just got an IS408 and am struggling to figure out how to manage my DC hose. Thanks!

I’m looking at the IS-M series and coming from a CNC machinist background. Right off the bat I’m missing my milling interface-feed/rapid/spindle override knobs, MDI, 3D simulation at the machine, etc. You mention that you will be doing some aluminum milling and you obviously have experience as a machinist. Will you miss these things? Cheers.
