I think horse poop is like maneur. It's mainly digested hay and other plants. Usually dogs do better with some meat in their food plan (not all dogs of course!) and apparently that's the problem? :/ I don't know really, just a possibility. Also, Odin is SO ADORABLE!!! and your haircut is so nice!
I guess I'm the opposite of some ppl. I don't have kids but I'm a dog lover and pet parent and I fully enjoyed the vlog. He's a puppy, so of course he's time consuming and will be the focus of quite a bit of your day. There are times I don't relate to your videos, but I don't feel a need to leave a negative comment as though you are supposed to tailor your content specifically to my liking. I love you're hair too btw!
I think horse shit is not toxic for other animals, whereas dog poo is deadly for cows, for example.. I guess that's why it's ok for horse owners to leave the poo there ^^
I think it's so weird when people complain about youtubers vlogging mainly about one thing. I follow another youtuber who moved to Korea and people starting complaining all she talked about was Korea. What do these people expect? You're sharing your life with us, if it had a major change like getting a dog or moving to another country, of course you'll vlog more about that, that's what has been taking up most of your time! Do people want youtubers to fake what their routine is? I for once feel honored to be allowed to share your day with you, Julia, whatever you vlog about. Don't care about what people say and make videos that make you happy :)
I didn't expect I would ever like poodles but Odin is suuuuuuch a cuuuute puppy :) really sweet! Why don't you take off his collar inside? Is there any specific reason? Oh and love your new haircut - really beautiful!
Because right now we have to go out with him so frequently, that taking it on and off so many times each day is kind of a hassle and also stressful for Odin. When we'd house trained completely, we will take off his harness inside. We do sometimes anyway, and of course at night when he's sleeping.
This is Julia's life, Julia like all of us; changes, grows, and experiences new things. We all don't have to be identical to enjoy a glimpse into a daily vlog. Julia, I for one, LOVED this. Why, because I like how real you are and you're showing people you're a real person with far more going on in your life than just make-up and beauty. Beauty is more than make-up, recipes, or other things, it's about lifestyle. If anything you were happy, relaxed, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle by going on a walk in a beautiful area. I loved seeing the creek and the rocks and the mini waterfall. I felt calm and happy watching this vlog. This was an example to anyone watching that being happy is about being kind to oneself, being honest and real, and sharing ones life with dogs or people or nature. My life is very stressful and this was a wonderful vlog for me to watch. You made me happy and relaxed. If anything, I was envious that I was not out on that trail and I too would have complained about the horse poop and high strung dogs. Your channel reflects who you are and you are changing and growing with new interests. That is what life is all about. You are my favorite vlogger. PS- I do want more about your new hair. It looks fantastic! Watching from Los Angeles. A+ vlog. PS- That was a lot of work making the pumpkin dessert. Kudos to you doing that after a long day.
You did well protecting your dog :) Its important he knows your master. Waiting for a hour after he eats before letting him run to prevent bloat in dogs. Theres a awesome vet on line here he has a lot of tips on caring for your furbaby , hes name is Greg Martinez DVM. He talks about different dog foods and home cooking etc . I have 2 of his books. I have had dogs for 35 years now. Your baby will bond closer to you. Male dogs do that :) When hes done with his baby teeth you might want to buy a soft toothbrush and dog toothpaste from the vet to clean his teeth daily. For his food sit beside him get him use to you been near him as his eating. He will learn to have good manners n not snap at you later on. Feeding cheese ,,,cooked eggs , can sardines packed in water are good foods for him.Looks like you are read up a lot on dogs so far. I LOVE YOUR HAIR :) Your furbaby is adorable :) I have the same problems finding foundations also since l'm so pale , I'm using right now Maybelline dream velvet in warm porcelain 05 liking it so far.l'm super tired and l'm sure I have made a lot of grammer n spelling errors here lolol Next your be looking for a house with a yard :) :) :) That's how it usually works :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jYXlEnSQLew.html Take care God bless you and your lovely family :) :)
The safest thing is a harness, preferably padded with an end through which a 3-point seat belt is woven. You can then use that same harness for walks. I used to buy wipes from pet stores until I realized that unscented baby wipes are much better. They're textured, soft, bigger and are gentle. Here in the US, I buy Huggies Sensitive Skin Unscented wipes
Be extra careful with horse poo because horse poo from horses that have been recently wormed can be deadly for dogs due to the dose. Also I have three poodle mixes, they are such water babies! Any chance they jump in! :)
I'm looking for a doggie and I prefer water dogs, I had no idea standard poodles were water dogs until this vlog. That and their hair/no shedding... I'm seriously thinking standard poodle now.
I love love your vlogs and fit Friday videos. Your puppy is so cute! By the way, you seem like an AMAZING cook. Your receipts always look so unbelievably delicious! Please do more vlogs. I love watching you make food
JULIA, PLEASE READ MY COMMENT :) I love all your videos, and I'm such a dog person! When I saw the title I said Yes!!!! Julia you are so adorable and your videos since 2008 were my inspiration. I learned a lot from your make up skills, life style, household tips, loosing weight..... you name it! During my open heart surgery which was in 2009, the only videos that distracted me from the excruciating pain were yours! I really want to see you one day in person and hug you for being such an amazing person! Love from Toronto, Sahar.
I have that with cat shit, who always pooped in my garden, and cat owners always say: my cat only poop's in our own garden, not!!!! And I always wonder what they would say if I let my dog, who's is a small dog,let him loose in their garden and do his poop! Don't get me going!!
Actually,I prefer poodles au natural! I like the way Odin looked before the shaved face..also it saddens me that when the fave is shaved along with the fur go their whiskers, which are actually very important to them.
Ist es in der Schweiz erlaubt, Hunde frei im Wald laufen zu lassen? In Deutschland ist das meistens Naturschutzgebiet und der Hund gehört an die Leine.
Oh and for the car carrier: my mom has one of those steel cages for our Dobermann. At first I thought they were cruel as they're limiting her movement. In the end, they're apparently the safest in terms of collisions. If a car rear ends you and smashes the back of the car in, the steel cage.prevents your dog from being smashed to death. Out Dobermann can sit and lie down comfortably in her, she can stand and turn. I understand they're safe, it just hurts me knowing all she can do is lie down. My mom doesn't leave her longer in the car than a maximum of an hour and I assume longer would be just cruel.
I have never seen a poodle with such a long tail. I can't believe it. Also Horse poop is nothing like dog poop. They eat grass and it is basically compost. Dog poop is much more disgusting actually.
Julia, this is my most favourite video that you have done ever! I have watched every single video you have made for the last 9 years. You keep getting better with each new video. Thank you for including excercise, Odin, cooking and beauty in one video... I foster Golden retrievers and understood every emotion you expressed mit Odin... Love you and many happy returns, Míchelle
Odin really is a lucky pup! You're like the most careful, thoughtful, gentle owner he could possibly have. I'm so surprised at how behaved and gentle he is at such a young age! So sweet :)
I have a red standard female named Abbey and she is the best dog I've ever had! Odin is a doll! And that long tail! I wish I would have had the choice to tell them to leave it long. They are the smartest and most loving dogs ever! We are trying to find a nice clean lake to let her discover her natural love of water. Love your videos!
He is sweet. I have a cream standard poodle, Phoebe she is 11 months old. Don't forget to take his harness off when he is at home. Also the crunching of his food helps clean his teeth. He is adorable!
Such a sweet boy...I agree about all that horse crap. Its gross to see that everywhere. Odin is an amazing puppy...so cute and so smart.Love your new hair btw..
If you have a horse that's 1.70 (meter) tall.. you can't just jump on and off to clean up...of course it is anoying and it would be nice if riders would do some collective cleaning afterwards. But it is not as easy compared to dogie clean up ;) lucky we have special horse trails here in the netherlands. Safer for rider, horse and others :)
Julia, I have a very stupid question for you. On your Instagram stories with Odin, when you call you and he comes, you say what sounds like "Bravo!" with a roll in the 'r." Is that what you are saying? I know this is so odd, but it sounds beautiful. Is that translated to "good boy!" or something like that? Anyone besides Julia know the answer? I took German in college FOREVER ago, but I don't remember this. Thanks!
I really enjoy the puppy vlogs! Fenris is about 2 weeks younger than Odin, so I can relate to your everyday life right now :) it is lovely, but it is kind of a full time job on its own :D
I loved this video! Odin is such a sweetie pie and I love it when you take us on your walks with him - love seeing the nature things. Your hair looks beautiful!
Oee that looked like a lot of food, but then I clean forgot he is a standard. I have a toy and I thought for a moment: JULIA's going to have SUCH a fat dog, but no... then remembered. he's going to be a BIGGIE!!!
Hi liebe Julia, ich glaube ich muss auf ch deutsch schreiben, es fällt mir einfacher...ig finge dini nöie video eifach super, es isch epis angers aus aui angere youtuber, i meine die wo reklamiere muesch eifach nid beachte.
