To be fair, it's more than just an upper. It's an upper with a suppressor AND the entire kit required to install and operate on any standard AR-15 lower. Furthermore, this isn't just some standard upper - the entire system is fine tuned for suppressed shooting, which means (for it's barrel length and caliber) it's slightly quieter and more efficient than a lot of other 11.5" 5.56 suppressed options out there. Also, it's a U.S. SOCOM contract overrun (this is literally the exact kit that SOCOM is fielding right now - this sort of thing doesn't happen very often).
