Folks are finally starting to see the light!

I love to see all the new options, I was rockin a 10 back when the fbi was trying them out. After what happened , I've always been prejudice against 40cal. I do not doubt it is an effective caliber, I just kmew what it was SUPPOSED to be and that it was born from weakness, so i kind of despise it. That said, while all the new offerings are great (I currently edc a R.I.A. 1911 in 10mm), I think it is important to remember - we (the centimeter freaks) owe a debt of gratitude to Glock. They kept this caliber alive when everyone else turned to sure bets (micro 9's and other trends). Had the Glock 20 been dropped we might have never had this resurgence in 10mm offerings.

Cut bait! Seriously, start a maniacal job search, then dump your house and move. Show those tyrants what happens when all the tax payers have an exodus. I know it is not easy, I did it. I wasn't not in CA but I sold my property and uprooted my whole family to make it to the Heartland. I miss my pool table, my personal range, my weight set (that was acquired in pieces over a decade), the Harley I had to sell BUT I now live in a state I would die to defend and am prouder than i have ever been of where i live. So at least consider it. I know it is life shaking but the pay off is phenomenal. Either way, good luck partner, we feel for our brothers trapped behind enemy lines 😔

That is one reason I am leaning towards this over the new XDM10 Elite 4.5". I think the modularity means that, some day, I can drop the chasis in a shorter grip and run the same size upper. That would be sick!

The 227 needed a higher mag capacity. I own one and it would be nice if it were like 13+1, but it is probably one of the nicest DA SA .45. it actually has a nice trigger and handles so well

@@dereklundquist9605 I imagine with the size difference of the .45 and 10mm, the 227 in 10mm would have 15+1 minimum.

@@Embarrassed4U idk don't have one personally but was gonna buy one but after reaching it there is alot of issues with loads over 180 grains and I would want to run 220 buffalo hard cast and need it to be reliable

Funny how different folks like different things. I actually run optics and suppressors but HATE tall sights with either. When I had my P10c cut for an RMR, I bought the goofy tall sights. I HATE them. The odds of me needing to cowitness pales compared to odds of me snagging a cover garment. Also, when I run a can, I use standard sight, line them up, and use the top edge of the can. I have no issues out to 25yd. Plus my RMR has such a hue to it (and it is a type II) that I can barely see my irons through it anyway. Throw in a little dust and they vanish. 3 things would have to happen before you would need tall sight: (1) involved in an emergency shooting (2) dot failure (3) be further away than 15yd. It really isn't as likely as snagging that front sight on clothing and destroying your presentation. But hey, if they work for you, rock on! We're all different UT the standard sight couple with optics ready is EXACTLY what I was looking for!

Yea, I'm waiting to see how it handles the Holy Crap loads. I waited years for the M&P 10 and then saw people immediately having issues with full house loads. Disappointing.

I mean, the G20 has been around for almost 2 decades. Not reload compatible, but no Manufacturer is.

@@alu.304 Uh..... what? Any conventionally rifled barrel (not polygonal) with full chamber support is "reload compatible". If you mean - every mfg says not to run reloads in their manual, that is simply a liability thing. Many (more like MOST) handguns come from the mfg able to safely run reloads. I've ran COUNTLESS reloads through more pistols than I can list here. The only issues are - gins with polygonal rifling AND guns with short throats like CZ's.

@@alu.304 Yes, all of them will SAY it to protect themselves from liability BUT it is important to remember - some pistols REALLY are NOT compatible with reloads. (Gen 1 thru Gen 4) 40 cal Glock with OEM bbl........ bad idea. Most 1911's...... not an issue at all. So I would not lump them together by saying that no mfg is reload compatible when many of them are. My current carry (1911 10mm) has seen way more reloads than factory. Of you just mean - every mfg will TELL you not to use them, that would be an accurate statement.

I totally get why npt but I will...... right after I see someone successfully run some super hot ammo through it and KNOW it doesn't have the same problems as the M&P 10.

@@tacdriver911 Really? That's cool. So far the only place I've seen them being sold was ONE guy on GB said he had 4 coming on the 2nd and wanted $1349 (I'll pass). I called the Sig L.E. dealer last week and they had no pricing (or pistols) available. I'll call them again Monday or Tuesday. Co grants on getting one!

It’s a configurable optic. It can be made a closed optic with a hood. Looks interesting.

You can use the fcu for a 9mm frame/slide but im assuming it will cycle 40 as is

@@taylormullis4942 I'm very curious, so will the 9mm FCU work on the XTen, or only the 45acp version of the FCU, or either? Because someone mentioned on another forum that Sig told him the XTen is compatible with the 45acp grip modules, 45acp slides, and 45acp FCU. But if I recall correctly the 9mm FCU fits a 45acp grip module and slide, it just can't correctly chamber a round. So will the new XTen work with either FCU?

@@donaldtower4515 OK, keep in mind - I'm just repeating what I heard in one of the countless videos I have watched on this beautiful beast. SUPPOSEDLY- the fcu out of the X Ten will work in other caliber grips BUT the fcu from other caliber will NOT work in the 10. That is what I heard one reviewer say.

10mm is too powerful some components must be beefed up a 9mm with these beefy 10mm parts wouldn't cycle properly
