Back in 89 Ricky was dating a blonde gal that lived directly above my apartment located in Campbell, CA. We would see him come over and would try to strike up a conversation with him. Dude never would say much, maybe one or two words while walking up the stairs to visit his girlfriend. Always remembered how ripped Ricky was. He kept himself in awesome shape. I think his license plate said "2bazebal". Even though I grew up liking the SF Giants, I always respected Rickey for how hard he played every day during his career. Definitely think your jersey is cool.

What are your thoughts about the G$ Boots vs. the G3 Guide Boots.....comfort, durability? I've heard the cleat mechanisms often fall out....true?

The g4 boots are great for confort and durability but the stud function is a little weak. the first time I put studs in them they fell out pretty quick. With that said, on my second pair, the studs have stayed in great. For the money, the Flyweight boots are phenomenal. I would buy the Flyweight's over the G3's. The g3 is a little stiff in my opinion.

For sizing should you size up or sign down from your street shoe size?

it's either right on your sizing or up size. Simms, in my experience, is same size for most folks.
