Nothing better then a phone call from the accountant saying "You really need to spend some money!" Looks like a nice one! Hope it works out well,Congrats!
That is a very beautiful machine! If you're going to spend all day running it then it's got to be comfortable-ish. I really like all the features. Just WoW!
I run the same machine with a cimaf mulcher on the front every day. When the bucket is on it I can almost push through a whole Tri-axle load of stone. She’s a bad mama jama.
Congrats on the new skid steer. One heads up - We have owned a few of these, that sliding door wears out quickly. The wheels / bearings whatever youd like to call them break, fall out, go missing, etc. Keep an eye on it!
Y'all are making America great again a successful company keeping their machines up to date! It's gonna be interesting to see if Tim keeps it as clean as you would
Ride control / boom suspension is a fantastic addon to any load-carrier... Ive had it in all volvo wheelloaders since early 2000, saves my back a lot of grief! But i turn it of when precision grading to make it stable, but when plowing snow, its fantastic! =) Congrats to a nice machine!
Interesting, track loaders went the way of the phone booth, now they're coming back as bigger and bigger tracked skid steer's!!! I saw a pic of that same tractor with rear mounted rippers! Loved my old Cat 943 track loader:)
CCS equipment is the best to deal with on equipment ditch witch of North Carolina for Yanmar parts and CCS equipment for Takeuchi parts good choice of equipment Chris and love the roll up door also and thank you for the t shirts sorry I cleaned you out on all the 4xl t shirts the other week
Backup camera is a neck saver and really helps with situational awareness. I have the camera displayed at all times on the new Cat skid's I run, not just when I'm reversing. Also, the ride control is a back saver, plus it's nice not to lose some of the load when driving over rough terrain. If its anything like Cat's you should be able to configure at what speeds it activates.
Takeuchi is the best brand of skid steer for our contractor fleet we run the TL 8 series and a couple TL12’s these machines are great longevity machines!
I got corrected when I called the last one a track loader. This one definitely is and I love it. I'm drooling all over my keyboard. Where are you gonna be parking that little beauty? I might come by one night and take a look at it.
you said something about the wiring harness going bad on the old machine - if BLUE TEC or DEF/WHATEVERITIS gets on the wire, i am fairly certain that it just keeps climbing its way up through all of the wiring destroying it.
Nice machine Chris ! I see you have a Construction Attachments 4 in 1 bucket... I have a 1-1/2 yd ( same make) on my 1994 Ford New Holland 575D backhoe... Also had one on my JD 555 crawler loader.. Best bucket I've ever owned ! Strong hydraulics in the clamshell... Best of luck with your new machine and be safe !
we've had a new tl12 v2 for about 5 months now. they are the best mini track loader I've ever ran. we got the high flow and use it with a mulcher. we had a takeuchi for 15 years. they truly are awesome machines! I've ran cat john deer kabota and these are the best! have fun with it. the only down side is def fluid but it doesn't use much of it.
Hopefully you get more hours outta this one before you need to trade in again. Around my area we are getting between 8,000-10,000 hours before needing to trade in. With that said I typically put around 800 hrs per year on the skid loaders and some large landscaping companies are doing 1,500 hrs per year. The Takeuchi machines are hands down some of the toughest and longest lasting loaders on the market.
B&K Excavating LLC you got that on toughest and longest lasting. I run mine about 1000-1200 hours a year. Got 7000 hours on my TL250 and it’s still running strong!
ya i like the door on the takeuchi. we traded in are 16' 259d for a 18' 259d, very important machine to have running good. We really like having a track skidsteer
I demoed a tl12v2 and a couple other brands. They where all the largest model of each brand and let me tell you, this to me was hands down the best... best overall breakout, tipping, the controls where the smoothest, and it just to me was the best all around machine. When Chris says it’s a tank, he means it. You just don’t truly understand the size of this machine until you see it in person. Chris ik you will like it over the tl12 hands down especially the vertical lift.
Good looking machine. I almost went with a Tak but not many dealers for support around here so I got a bobcat. I do hate the side-opening door, overhead makes more sense.
Clicked on the video thinking "Damn another new machine?? They just got that other Takeuchi" , then you said you got that one 4 years ago... Damn, time goes by fast, heres to many more years of watching to come!
And, when it comes to bucket bottoms, i would suggest Hardox plate or alike.. Ive used my grading bucket for about 2500 hours now, and still havent had to repair anything.. Recived and graded 95 000 metric tonnes coarse "riff raff" (up to 300mm rocks) on a job just last winter.. But thats on a volvo l60h..
Such a nice choochie!! You said it was fully loaded but I respect you for skipping the crock holders. I know others might be jealous but they just have to deal with it. Congrats!!!!
First skid steer I ever ran was a TL150, I have been disappointed in all the other machines I’ve tried out, though the Deere’s are nice. Couldn’t give me a Cat, the balance sucks, visibility is terrible , hell I worked for a guy that bought a 257B, final drive Grenaded before the first oil change, fixed it, the other side let got a week latter, cat took it back and gave us another one, motor locked up with 74 hours, the brought us another one and that held up decent
We have one of these it’s a beast running any other skid loader doesn’t even compare to it it does go through a lot of fuel though I usually go through a tank every 6 hours
It looks like you're two binders short of a secure load driver! Nice machine! Several of your RU-vid buddies ( no names)are watching this over and over. Pausing the video , watching it in slow motion, while the Barry White is playing. LMAO
Up in Ontario Canada we have the Bobcat. Same machine basically by a different company. I have never heard them referred to as a skid steer till youtube. Just some perspective. We call pepsi Pop not soda as well. Bottle of pop!
good luck with it, and i hope you make a lot of money with it. i looked at the attachments for it, but i am surprised they don't make a hydraulic snowblower for it
