I am interested in spawn knowledge. It's something that I have always known about but it never came to me naturally, so I kind of didn't concentrate on it. Now I want all the info about everything that helps me get better. I have watched some videos about spawns on MWII and seeing spawns on paper really helps me to pay attention to them and utilize reading and manipulation. I am not only watching your videos if you make them, I study them and therefore watch them multiple times to instill them to make the whole aspect as a habit.
I actually made a whole map of Al Mazra with DMZ spawns and the best regain spots. Sadly, I deleted mw2 for Apex so i deleted the map but i feel you man those kinda videos would be sick. I once spawned into DMZ, got instantly downed within 30 seconds while my premade squad and i were ceasing the back n forth bull shitting to figure out a game plan. Whats funny is that 1 of us got away, revived the others and I took a ground loot RPK around. WE SEE THEM AGAIN THAT SAME GAME…. And I pull off a 1v3 wipe and i was like “yall shoulda left us the fuck alone. Enjoy your 2 hour insured slot timers being gone” lmao they were salty. My sensitivity was ON POINT for some reason that game so i was perfectly flicking them and someone was talkin this shit with hackussations and I was like “bro chill this is my 1st cod game, why would i hack when i can play n improve? Enjoy knowing you all 3 got wrecked by someone playing less than a year, but gg to the others who aint salty.” It was a glorious game. We took their weapons and exfil’d successfully. I spent 10 mins dead tho n that was annoying but the revenge knowing i wiped a squad of fully-kitted weapons with a trash ground loot RPK with 1 or 2 Rando attachments made it worth honestly 😂
@@growingoaks I too once spend the whole day writing down Hardpoint cycles and spots where I can block the spawns and routes where I should exit in order for best possible outcome from tutorials. Then I went to custom games and played 45min of each ranked map of Hardpoint to memorize the point cycles and optimal routes. It really opened my eyes about the spawn game, to pay attention where I spawn and if the enemy can manipulate spawns or not and I realized what a fucking dummy I've been. I mean there's still long way to go but tutorials are big help. I watch all of them multiple times.
Dont think about it. Short maps are easy to learn the spawns with enough playtime. I have been away for over a decade and have already learned shipment and rust, You will learn it fast but its better to focus on a couple of maps, Easy to remember that way. You need to make it a muscle memory dont think about dying just try to focus on where they are poppin up, Your minimap is gold for this always glance at it so you can surprise them. Use a recon drone to help you see their spawns, Just use it fast and exit. It will mark enemies for you. Private matches is the best way to learn, All pros does this all the time. SBMM makes it quite stressful in MP its just not a good place to get better at the game, Better to make it a muscle memory before you compete. You will get way better and learn way faster in private matches, Dont sleep on it
If you're sometimes diving when you're set to 'Slide Only' it's not your controller's fault; It's the game. There are edge-cases where your operator can initiate a slide but cannot initiate a dive; and vice-versa. Pressing the 'change stance' button during one of these edge-cases will initiate whichever action is possible. This is why sometimes you will dive when set to 'slide only' and why sometimes you will slide when set to 'dive only'. A good example of this is when you are set to 'dive only' - if you try to dive just as you hit the ground you will slide instead.
@@F_8_T_A_L you always stand up after a slide or slide cancel. If you press slide slide normally you’ll be crouched, but with it off you’ll stand up. I turned it off but then turned it back on because I needed it for crouching kills.
You can do a better version of the corner jump with a slide. If you hold both the jump and slide at the same time you can get the speed of the jump around the corner, the once you land you will get a full distance slide in whatever direction your looking In case this didn't make sense what it should look like is you run and jump sideways around the corner, the slide forward past your enemy breaking their camera and be behind them
Yes you can do this literally from a stand still. Just jump press up in the air and just before/as you land press your crouch button and you'll slide. I love it.
I actually done this thinking everyone did it that way, and im finding out it's a tactic. Man, that's awesome, hahahah. Honestly tho, the slide drop is sonething worth learning. Never would of thought of this. Thanks man
🔥💀🔥 been drop-sliding in MW2019, Cold War, Vanguard, and now MW3. BO4 too if you use the drop-shot attachment. really any COD that has a slide. Ghost, Infinite Warfare, Advanced Warfare, BO3....
my favorite movements rn are the strafe dropshots its very similar to a normal dropshot but u move in one direction on the way down and the other on the way up giving you aim assist while dropping and moving ur head location so when they aim down like thier muscle memory says they shooting arms also when doing the dropslide u have to cancel the slide before you aim or the tac stance will mess you up
I'd like to see a side by side comparison of the animations for lethals, tactical and field upgrades between mw2 and mw3. Feels like C4's take longer to throw etc.
when you're in tac sprint on mouse and keyboard you just have to tap your prone key to jump and dive and it's much more quicker than slide cancel + prone
Your controller is not broken, is some kind of glitch where if you have the "slide only" selected, if you mess up the timing for another slide (trying to slide while your're still bringing the gun up) it'll do that. Try turning on the sprint slide cancel and see if it keeps doing that
If you spam movement keys u should try learning to aim and control your weapons better, Sliding and jumping during a fight is just a crutch that can and will make u lose a match don't forget that there is alot more variables during gameplay
i think this will get more powerful as sledgehammer has said they will be reworking the way the controls for crouching sliding and proning will work so if we can bind prone to a separate button it could get a low faster
The reason why people don't want to share movement tech is because developers watch social media and if a movement tech gets brought to light there's a chance they'll see it and patch it out, tbh I don't plan on doing movement tech that's clearly a bug because it's going to be wasted effort and muscle memory the moment devs patch it out
5:10 you mention the jump drop shot but I havent seen ANYONE mention the fact that it got nerfec/changed in this game and you can see it in your video at 5:10 you do the standard jump drop shot but it leaves you crouched and not prone. The only way ive found to do it is to add an extra prone press so its jump prone prone. Feels ok but not as fast as MW2. Id love if you could respond to this comment and lmk if you know agree with my assessment or if im missing something.
Just saying having slide only if u click ur crouch and jump at the same time theres a chance u dive i think thats mostly to counter the slide only or its a bug they haven't fixed yet
It's not your controller. I have the same issue and actually turned "slide only" off because if would just randomly make me dive and was driving me nuts.
I'd like to subscribe, but I can bring myself to sub to someone using the Nikki minaj skin, it's just way too gay. You're going to have to stop using that bro
It is just me or sometimes the game goes into slide when im jump (like bunny hoping) it happens alot of times, i slide without pushing the button( btw my controller is perfect, i have this problem only on mw3)
PSA: Use Melee or Handgun in order to have more "momentum" before you start to slide (OF COURSE DON'T DO THIS IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T WEAPON SWAP IN TIME). Also Tac Sprint into Jump into turn 180, into tap slide in air, then tap again to cancel, then again to go prone. THIS WILL BREAK ALL THE CAMERAS.
THANK YOU for also including how to do it on mouse & keyboard. I can't aim worth a damn on a controller. Edit: Hmmm. My Settings > Keyboard & Mouse > Gameplay > Slide/Dive Behavior only has the options "Standard" and "Inverted". There isn't a "Slide Only" for me.
I just stumbled upon this mechanic by accident today, however I don’t think what you’re doing is the broken mechanic. I cannot figure out how to consistently do it, but occasionally I will go essentially straight from upright to prone as if skipping the slide portion. What you’re doing still has the transition delay between sliding and going prone, and is still effective, but not broken really.
I've been messing with this lately too. From what I see, during a few frames of the slide animation early on, you can cancel the entire slide animation into the prone animation so you basically are doing a standard stand to prone animation but you have the velocity of sliding. Keyboard has helped narrow down a few things
@@DoomJoy666 As far as I’m aware, they’ve patched this out several weeks ago. You might be noticing a nerfed/different version of it, as with the original, you hit the ground with zero stance delays. I am curious about the thing you’re describing though, is it just hitting the prone key immediately after sliding and you don’t have to do the slide animation and just prone instead while moving? Or are you proning very quickly after the slide animation, as I’d love to have this mechanic back from mw19
Men I just like your videos because you explain a lot for good things about mechanics... But why do you use DS4 if there's no need to. Windows now can detect PS5/4 controllers and there's no such a thing as delay input. I question this because every "famous" streamer uses it for take more adv about aim assist hope you don't...
I myself like the movement technique of start-quit match when going up against players doing this nonsense. Public matches turned into cod elite world series for what? Shit isn't "fun" anymore.
your auto aim isnt going to pick it up too which now everyone does it. for people laying down your still getting auto aim which i weird. the auto aim doesn't pick it up for people shooting you which makes it good. i also hate it for people doing it to me. proning with op swarm smg is op, even worse for pc with the quick flicks since they can automatically 1 up controller.
Hmmmm DS4 windows.... A known aimbot utility..... If you didn't want to use the cheats you would just use the steam controller option.... Ds4 windows... Means aimbot and anti recoil scripts for sure
dude, I would love to see a vid for all the maps ins and outs. Stoked for that. Also my contoller does the random dives when set to sprint cancels slide off i switched it back on and the glitch fixed .
You can still dive with the " slide only " setting. If you press your stick forward and hold down your circle/l3 button at the same time you'll get the dive. It's easier to do after a slide cancel because of the slight delay and thats how people accidently do it most often.

So I've been playing FPS on PC for a long time. The standard has pretty much always been CTRL for crouch, SHIFT to sprint, SPACEBAR to jump. When I came back to COD in MW2 '22, the very first thing I did was redo all my keys to what I'm accustomed to. My keys: Movement - WASD Sprint - SHIFT Crouch - CTRL Jump - SPACEBAR Prone - Z Others : Tactical - Q, Lethal - E, Reload - R, Interact - F, Field Upgrade - X, Mount - T, Fire Selector - B, Voice/PTT - V, Melee - Mouse4 (side-button), Ping - MMB I'm thinking about changing a couple things now to make prone a bit more accessible. Having Crouch on CTRL and Jump on SPACE makes slide-cancelling SUPER easy But slide to prone - CTRL, Z - is super awkward to hit while also still using movement on WASD I need to review my binds and see what's comfy
I knew I should have been making videos on this type of stuff. I've been doing this and a few other techs I haven't been seen in the Wild or online. ALSO the idea of not telling people how to do things is so FGC "save it for regionals" of the call of duty community lmao that's wild
You think you are doing a good thing by showcasing the tech but people aren't hiding it so other people don't use it, they are hiding it so devs don't notice it and remove the technique...which you just ousted to 50 thousand people.
