Nerfs for sure. I know I'm not alone in no longer doing Chop Shop (other than occasional Tow Truck missions to keep the passive income decent) and back to Cayo's. If enough other people are doing that I could see another nerf incoming. As an aside, one of my characters got credit for the weekly challenge even though I've never done the Diamond Casino heist. I was like "Huh?"
Hey taco, I'm an OG gamer but was new to GTA online. I don't play online games much. But my wife of 20 years passed away on valentine's day 3 months ago and i was looking for a distraction and a way to forget for a few hours when I came across your rags to riches series. You made everything that confused and intimidated me about playing online in GTA seem easy and accessible to even a beginner like me. Playing online for me became therapeutic and a way for me to clear my mind and actually laugh and enjoy myself again. Even for a little while. Has anyone else noticed that lately it's been much more difficult to do the weapons setup mission stealthily? It used to be so easy to kill everyone in the office with no one noticing, but the last three times I've had the alarm go off, even though I'm doing it the exact same way.
Yes, I'd like to see the complete walkthrough from setups to completion. I see a lot of content on your channel but I do not want to sort through them all.
Buy a sparrow, on the finger print cloner setup destroy the cameras at the 2nd location after hacking the laptop Weapons setup aggressive land on the roof , if u get the merryweather mission find a new private session 😊

To finish your sentence about the update last year: They updated and made it so if you kill guards then people can see them and come after you whereas before the update you could almost kill anyone without their body being noticed. So it is safer to just not kill them.
I haven’t done the cayo perico heist since they buffed the juggernaut and what ever changes they did since. That’s been two years now, but I’m here because a friend needs help.
I always do the disruption missions, it scares me that the heist is gonna be too difficult if I don't complete them 😅 Great video as always, very informative!
As long as you stay stealth you don't need to do this missions.. Even when from time to time it happens to get the guards alerted i think is still better to start a new session and start the heist again
I find that the shed at the nth dock that has the door lever on it, the one that pavel says you need 2 people to open it, the longfin is the only approach that allows a solo player to open, often has 2 stacks of coke in it.
Something I've noticed with this heist is that on the compound wen i get to the main building i can kill the guards and get away with it but i was playing earlier and i killed the same old guards as usual and the island was alerted twice this happened
Yea they take a bit you'll get quicker the more you do them they'll still take at least 30 minutes in most cases in my experience and I've made at least 200 million from this heist probably more lol

I guess I'm just a psychopath as I almost *always* use the Velum. There are four secondary loot options in the hanger that require zero caution and there's usually a guard uniform nearby. If my RNG is top-tier, there's the guard uniform *AND* the guard truck right there. Then just a simple drive to the compound.
I’ve been stressing on this a bit bc I’ve only done it a couple times, but I learned if you go the other direction, you can get up on the rooftops and it’s a lot quicker and easier
I like to alternate setups for cayo and Dre in one play through. It takes a little longer, but I like to load my game knowing I got 2 million in about an hour. But I don't get to play everyday, usually 2, 3 times a week. Cheers Y'all 🍻🤘
I finally worked up the courage to attempt this heist after your prior 'beginner' video going over all the set-ups and heist. I was guilty of stopping in game to rewatch your path trying to commit it to memory 😂 but after a few failures, you've made me a pro! Thanks!
Cayo is ridiculously simple. You just have to allow yourself some time and patience if you mess up at the beginning. But once you get the repetition of it, you'll question why you ever avoided it all this time. It's a great why to make over 1M while everything else is making product for you in the background.
I'm sad that the devs ruined up a fun activity but I am very happy that you made this guide. I was about to delete after finding out how much they limited everything. You saved gta5 on my console. Lol
Thanks for this great vid! I followed your instructions and finished the heist for the first time in my life! One question though, how do you put the rebreather on? I have been to Ammo Nation and I'm 20/20 full. So I have it, I just don't know how to put it on. Have been holding my breath for as long as I could and amazingly it's long enough to open the drainage tunnel. but with rebreather it would be more relaxed.

@@boasy82 GTA IV won't narcisistically mentally abuse then love bomb you into sinking all of your time / money into it, becoming a 2nd job, as GTA V will. Same with RDR1 Online vs RDR2 Online. If you like supporting predatory buisness practices and want to devote your life towards a dying game that is developed by a company that actually hates you and is actively working against you doing anything that is fun, as to milk time and money out of you for nothing in return, then GTA V is your dead game
Just did all the other approaches to unlock the trade prices for all the different approach vehicles. While they were slower, I highly recommend everyone to do them at least once.
One other minor point that might confuse newer players is that the $50k you get for the elite challenge goes straight into your bank. It won't be included in the cash you have in hand when come out of the final cutscene.
@@mr.obvious331 No, at least not on PC. When you come out of the Cayo Heist, the elite challenge money goes straight to bank and the rest of it is cash in your hand (I do automatically deposit it in bank of course lol).
At the end, you can use a pistol to melee the guard with the bike. They might have fixed it but you can usually just run up to pairs of guards that are facing each other and melee them both in the head as long as you initially come at them from the side to stay out of their cones.
The guards you can kill the guy outside the cocaine hanger the guy at the bottom of El Rubio stairs and the guy up el Rubio stairs just don't shoot the guy on el rubios or the blonds stairs you can shoot every other one though

Hey Kyle what's the story with the lotus Elise S1 model and picture on your shelf? The yellow caught my eye so zoomed in. Lotus is close to me as my grandfather worked there for over 15 years in the engineering department.
I don't see the point in the whole boat thing at the start. You could have just went in with the kosatka, snuck around the gaurds, killing a few gaurds that takes you round pretty quickly to the main bit. Then after you get the main loot, go to one of the houses near the front gate and grab the gold bars. Then you just need to drive the motorbike off any edge of the map and swim until you're far enough away.
I’m doing exactly this and not getting in the right time I also take 2 attempts on fingerprint hack but still I’m on about the time it taking me longer
heres a cayo fun fact ive never seen anyone do. on setup, if you get the guard at radio tower and you jump off the tower infront of him 1 of 3 things can happen. 1. nothing you just fall to your death cuz he didnt see you in time and you end up at airport 2. you fall to your death but the guard saw you before you hit the ground you die end up at airport and 2 guards show up punch you in the gut and take you too the airport(which is where you already were) 3. the guard sees you in time, you fall flat on your face but you survive you get back up dust yourself off then get punched in the gut and taken too the airport (these all work from any height) numbers 2 and 3 are imho hillarious and ive not seen anyone showcase them before
First, I love your videos and am a huge fan. Keep up the good work! I know you spend a lot of time working on these videos and it doesn't go unnoticed. Now that you're playing on PS5, will you do a future Cayo Perico heist where you try all the wall glitches inside the compound to see if they work on console? I do all my heists by going to wherever the Coca-Cola is, but would love to see if I can throw some gold in there too when doing the heist solo. Thanks for being awesome!
if you play with a duo you can take easy the lood in the compound even after all the nerfs. my friend and i are killing half of the compound and we doest get detected.

Just tried that on my ps5 it seems that they added a lot more guards it’s literally packed and the map is all red which is impossible. I had to shoot all of them almost. Ridiculous
I have a problem with two second loot locations that I never loot because the dead bodies are always found, one stash is alone near the center of the map, and the second stash is the small one east at north dock.
Yep.. that’s my solo run. If I’m doing a buddy run I’ll get keycards and gold. I don’t do glitches, I think it takes away from the game. Of course everyone can play how they like that’s just my opinion.
Had the sub awhile before I finally tried it and that first time was terrible died alot but I figured out a way that works for me and been running it ever since has made me rich tacos way is much simpler then my old way just follow him you got this
I would very much like to know how you are able to get the gold as a solo player especially on the ps5 cause I've tried so many times and cannot do it. Also there is area up north (the open land by placebo bay) and if you spawn there and do the scope out mission from that spot you stand a higher chance of getting the pink diamond.
Does the longfin stay by the drainage tunnel once you enter the compound or does it despawn? Then could you just jump into the water by where you enter from the tunnel and escape?

I usually do the easiest but I do usually try to get cocaine secondary targets when possible but usually if they're not in the easier locations i.e. by the runway or that side of the map I don't bother going around everywhere trying to find it. I need to finally try all the other approaches I've never done anything but the sub and longfin
It doesn't count as a buff, but I got the easiest hack ever yesterday at the Observation Tower -- the target number was "000," and the numbers down the left side were "0," "0," and "0" -- I should have taken a clip of it, but it stunned me into laughter.

Yes indeed this game hates me (On PC) First off thanks for he updated guide as I had never managed to get through without the guards getting alerted now... but... Once I shot the one with the bike and jumped on and headed for the cliff, the "body found" thing came up and basically to cut a long story short it took 5 (yes FIVE) restarts to get away as no matter how I tried the timer never stopped and either the helicopter or boats got me or my air mysteriously ran out after 5 minutes of swimming. so obviously no elite bonus. on that 5th attempt however it went ok. I wonder is this just me or has anyone else had that happen? I'm going to try again later on to see if it repeats after the cooldown.
Yes the game hates me. I started another heist after the cooldown, went into the hanger as normal at the air strip, used the fork lift to get the loot as I have done many times and as I left the guard that walks past suddenly spotted me despite me being nowhere near him or the red cone. 🙄 Many swear words have been spoken.
If you do the setup missions I'd respectfully request that you don't use the oppressor as it doesn't offer the same helpfulness in strategy and execution.
