OH MY GOD THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR PLAYING ME- UH- MY MOD ME! Some smoll backstory to the character. I got this mod gifted as a birthday present. Isaac is my alltime favorite game and my community (especially @StrangeOne101 who did the coding) made it possible! To the mechanics: Every one has randomized stats orders. While you got a luck up for your first soul heart in this run, the next run could be e.g range). That makes every run unique. The statorder is set within the run. So if you have a run, where you get a luck up for the first soul heart, this will always be the stat for the current run and soul hearts. Its a little confusing, I gonna admit :D Thank you for giving feedback! I like your idea with the small stat up for every additional soulheart. I will tell the coder c: Also thank your community for having amazing ideas in the comments. I'm currently reading all of them

i think i understand what happened with the mother room. the stats of each soul heart got rerolled twice. one for entering, and one when leaving. that means that there is some code lacking in the mother thing that prevents it from considering it a "new run"

when you went into the mother chase sequence, it removed and reapplied all your soul hearts, re-randomizing the stat boost from each. same for when you got out. it looks like losing and regaining a soul heart lets you reroll what stat boost you got from it, potentially stacking damage on all of them! or luck if you want to :)

That is legitimately the biggest problem with the Mother and Beast fights, that the run ends if you decide to pursue them. It makes sense storywise, but doesn't integrate fantastically mechanically. I feel like, if anything, the Strange Door could instead be an alt path for the Mega Satan door (possibly with some other conditions to open it), and then *that* path diverges to either the Corpse or the Ascent (kind of mirroring the Sheol/Cathedral choice after It Lives). Perhaps not as thematic, but would make for more interesting prolonged runs.

I really really really enjoy that every run DOESNT end the same place. I wish more Isaac RU-vidrs did showcases that ended in mother or the beast, or just in greed mode instead of normal mode!

I usually go do downpour and mines on most of my runs, 1. for practice, i've gotten pretty good at em; 2. the double item rooms; and 3. the full knife is actually a pretty solid damage dealer. i'll go to mauso sometimes just for funsies, but usually i'll just go chest or dark room past that, and won't bother going to corpse. becasue yo can still go alt path up to mauso and still hop back down to normal womb if you don't use the knife to pop the door and kill the heart.

You also get to skip womb 1 by going full alt path, which means an extra item room in mauso 2 and skipping one of the most boring floors

I like that rhe srats are tied to health, it makes it very unique and J love the dynamic of the states being directly tied to its own soul heart. Like you can protect your damage soulheart with less useful stat hearts. I do like variety in runs so seeing different pathes is fun.

Problem with cluster bombs is inconsistency For example, if the clusters always spreaded in a *X* pattern from the original explosion, it would be more predictable without ruining the point/potential of the ite

I actually think hutts was cooking with his ideas for alterations on the character, like the "soul hearts can be taken when on full soul hearts for smaller, permanent, stat ups", I think that's a nice risk reward thing. It's a risk because taking soul hearts you lose on potential health for when you get damaged.

Maybe make it so that when u are full, soul hearts overlap and are visually different. so you "upgrade" an existing soulheart but also lose more when you lose that upgraded soulheart.

The overlapped soulhearts act as a holy mantle, and so it doesn't take up your screen, it's visualized by a number after your max hearts. Once you get hit, it reduces all your stats by half the stuff you got from those soul hearts, and the number goes back to 0 Edit: This is a suggestion

Fun lil correction about deeper pockets, it actually doesnt replace your room clear reward, instead it only pays out if you otherwise wouldn't have gotten one! This means having lower luck can actually lead to more money when you have it!

They should allow active item fusion for the blue candle and red candle. Gives you a purple candle that throws out fires that burn and shoot at enemies

hutts i like it when you do a chest run because it gives you more items and more chances to see synergies. The chest gives you minimum 4 items and you get alot more with chests

I think chest/darkroom is usually better in a video cause there is just more to pull from in the edit but also it can drag on sometimes cause it’s Issac. I enjoy the vids either way

I personally enjoy the alt path, but like only up until the Mausoleum/Gehenna Mom fight. It's more enjoyable to watch you climb up to the chest or down to the dark room.

I'm personally a really big fan of the alt path and pretty much always go there, but what I'd like to have is that you can maybe go to the Dark Room by going into Mother Chest. Corpse 2 is already floor 9 (which is the same as Cathedral/Sheol) so I think it should skip straight to one of the two last ones to avoid the run going even longer (Plus Cathedral and Sheol are kinda useless). Edit: I just realized you can Take Polaroid or Negative before Corpse, so maybe the chest should go to Chest with the Polaroid and Dark Room with the Negative

i am kind of late so this is probably gonna get missed but personally the alt path is my favourite path because of how unique the floors and bosses are in comparison to the standard path; whenever i'm watching a video that isn't about unlocks i always hope for it. whenever i'm playing the game myself, i'm usually going for unlocks because crap there are a lot of those but if i didn't have to worry about unlocks i'd go alt path way more often. maybe i'm just a purist or something but i prefer alt path runs ending at mother, i feel like just continuing to the cathedral or sheol robs corpse and mother of its sense of finality. i always used to find mother the hardest boss but after getting used to the three attacks i had problems with i'm not quite so sure any more... plus, the beast and hush are probably tougher due to being such endurance tests.

I actually like seeing the alt path, probably partially because it's so rare. I just like seeing more variety. I'm not saying one's better than the other but I'd like seeing an equal share of all endings. Mother, Lamb, Blue Baby, Mega Satan, Delerium, Beast, Ultra Greedier...

Deep pockets doesn't replace the drops. It only activates when you actually don't get a drop, and then it gives you moneez. Doesn't replace your normal rewards

I do like the alt path and beast, but the amount of items you get on the chest really just beats all other paths I feel. Both for ease of play and how interesting it makes the run itself. The real question now is when we'll get a Hutts or Tim character.

Beast is more fun to watch than mother but chest/dark room are definitely the bread and butter. Esp with hush/boss rush/delirium opportunities vs dogma/beast progression imo.
