The garden looks very enchanting now y will, I think, give you much joy, especially when all of the flowers begin to bloom. The bonsai add a nice structural element to the garden y it looks like you have placed them well. Also, once the shed, bench y table are painted it will look all the more striking and you should get an award for what you have created.🦋🦋🦋
.......your garden is beautiful Roger.....what a great space you have......Bonsai is another growing method that fascinates me.....very controling and yet up to nature......Your plants look great ......look forward to learning more about them.
Thanks Rick. I used to have many many Bonsai but like others, they were mainly 'sticks in pots'. Quite a few years agon I sold off most of them keeping the ones I liked best. The two 'sister Acers' were just 6" cuttings when I got them. Keep your eye on this channel as I will be doing a full garden update soon where I will look at all the plants/shrubs etc. I've tried to create the 'feel' of the edge of a woodland clearing with mainly English native plants. The garden was a mess when I moved in and a lot of hard work has been put into get where I am now. Not finished, but much closer to where I want to be.
The Bonsai staging looks great. It is like a very special viewing garden. I also noticed that your gardens are in blossom. The foxglove is beautiful as well as your Aquilegias spectecular. Hard work and great showing. Congratulations Roger!!
Thanks (I've submitted a video for a collaboration with Gavin "Notanotherbonsaichannel" where there is a pan around the garden and a look at some of my trees as of July 12th - so much more recent. I do need a 'Summer Trim' especially on my Maples and some Pines to sort out too.)
@@RogersGardenandBonsai That dilapidated old shed needs a couple of coats of stain (if it's even worth preserving!). It detracts from your efforts elsewhere. However, splurging money and work on your landlord's fixtures is not something I'd be inclined to do, but it is an eyesore as you've commented before.
