I dig this IEM. Not the best technicalities, but just a quality tuning and tonality. Overall, an enjoyable listen. Rec'd. Or better yet, get the CKLVX 1B+4BA. They're pretty much the same IEM; Same driver configuration, different faceplate.
My Moondrop KXXS died recently :( so I started looking for something at $200-300 and I found CKLVX 1B+4BA from Myer Audio - with many good reviews. It got more popular recently because of a price cut - you can get it under $200 and some people say that it's similar to Pula sound signature. Just ordered a few days ago and I'm waiting for a delivery. Can't wait to test it :)
@@shantanusahu9168 in audio the term ''better'' is difficult to achieve with similar level products.. For me I prefer the PA02 and P5 of the list.. But the superior one for me is the tanchjim origin by a lot...
@@Alxtorr77 thanks M kinda new to this stuff with a budget of $200 I like Hearning baselines in songs Not sure on difference of subbase vs base With your knowledge of iems What would you suggest as origin is above 200
My Legacy 5 by Theiaudio 1dd 4ba from 2 years ago is still the best sounding iem at 2 to 300 bucks i have heard. Ive been looking for any upgrade and nothing ive tried has done it for me
$130? With an Aliexpress discount I spent about $180 - originally it was about $195 on sale. However keep in mind that this is a converted price for a delivery to Poland (EU) and when I checked how much does it cost to deliver to USA it was $150 - with a coupon less. It's possible that they add aditional import tax if you order them to Europe unfortunatelly.
@@ImAWSMDanny Nice. The only thing I'm still confused about is the picture they have on their listing. With the exception of Jays audio, I haven't seen anyone with a purely orange/yellow faceplate. They all look more like the Aful performer 5. Do you know if there's a reason for this? Imo it looks better with the silver and stuff.
If there's lots of iem's at the price performing above their price point, then surely the measuring stick should be moved? So actually this is now the standard for the price point and other items are under performing for their price point
How does the PA02 compare to the simgot supermix 4? I heard really good things about the supermix. I'm not certain but I think it even has better technical performance?
Dave, have you tried the symphonium meteor at all? I think you would love that iem for your personal collection we seem to have similar tastes …. That set is killer!
I recently got into IEM's & I really enjoy your knowledgeable reviews! I purchased the Performer 8 about 3 months ago (paired with Questyle M15) and while I love the 8's clarity and overall tuning, the highs are too harsh at times, mainly with "T's" & "S's"...Any suggestions of another IEM to try with similar tuning/clarity but with less harshness? I also just purchased the Chopin a few days ago, which will arrive soon.
If you are new to this hobby I suggest you to try different eartips with your P8, if they are just sometimes borderline you probably can get rid of the problem and appreciate your iem at his full potential.
I really like azla, dunu s&s, spinfit and in my expirience divinus(which are mentioned in this channel) and final audio e type can give you a smoother sound. Or you can try with foam tips like tin hifi and see what fit you the best. There review for that too. Good luck
I forgot about eartips I bought a while back. They are the dunu S&S. I just put them on the P8 & I'll try it out tonight. I'll look into the others too. Thank you for the info!! 🎧👍
Hi, im at the market to get a new iem in the sub 200$ category, at the moment i have the Truthear Hexa and i would like something with a bit more bass and a bit more energy up top, what could you recommend? between choppin, performer 5 or pa02 who is the better of the 3? also i saw the nova i don't know if you test them and could be a good option aswell, thankyou.
Nice review again. Considering I already have the Performer 5 for $155, I'll stick with that. However, while really loving the P5, can you suggest an upgrade path?
Sorry, but you totally missed the performance of this IEM. The Performer5, which I owned is back on sale....far too bland and uninspiring. From one audiophile to another....not even close in comparison.
I got the pula and i regret. it has so much recommendation. thats people hide its defects. i wont trust reviewers as much from now one. but to who to turn to.
you get the SAME Iem around 40$ cheaper, it is the CKLVX D41! instead of that stupid entry music you re using all the time for your videos just be honest and tell us the truth. But hey, it is all about money right?
