@@Rawaa13 yessss someone who finally gets it like why do you make a 50$+ cup a trend? And just because it’s a trend doesn’t mean you NEED one there’s so many dupes or just normal and better cups you can buy that are worth your money. It’s also just these ten year olds because whatever the see online they need to have but it’s different if it actually works for you. And not to mention what’s happening to these preppy brand testers at Sephora they are DESTROYED bro gen alpha is wild💀
point is firstly i believe cup's 280 or smthing and in the case of saying its 40$ the cup its still so expensive and wdym over the average size ive seen bottles so much bigger for like 7$ in almost every shop i go either way 280 or 40 for a bottle while waiting in line for hours in the middle of the morning/night is not rlly different the bottle is just a stupid internet craze . also im not hating on the child or father @Preppy..Summer. edit - the cup was on sale so it is 40 but eitherways still expensive not worth it
@Preppy..Summer.u could buy so many other cups that have the exact same features for so much cheaper. Stanley’s rnt that good it’s only popular bc it’s cute
my sister works at a starbucks, and she said that their location only had 5 cups. they do this because they want you to think its so 'rare' when it really isn't. also i would definitely not be paying 280 dollars for a stinkin cup. 👌
The video with the crazy ppl running for cups where getting them from target drink wear section not the actually Starbucks inside the store where they where to purchase from the baristas. Marketing at its best.lol
It is actually worth it because Stanley’s can keep your water cold for 2 days!! Although they did once almost ruin my computer because I knocked my Stanley over in my sleep…. Heh heh, yeah I guess when it fell over the straw cover fell off
I have one and it helps me to drink more water since they are big. They also keep drinks cold all day. I think it is stupid that people are fighting over them though. It’s just a cup
In my opinion showing that you really love your kids doesn't mean you let them go to Target and spend the night and get a cup that's going to fall off it just means that you let your kids get spoiled
I see where you’re coming from, but he also made lasting memories with his daughter doing that. I think those cups are stupid, but I’d still love to do that with my dad. It would be amazing a and all round awesome. In my opinion, that dude’s a great dad.
@@happyglowup7736 i get what you mean but you can get cups just as good for way cheaper, that much for a bottle is crazy. and once they are no longer trendy they’ll probably just put them aside. some trends are quick and some stay for a while
GUYS it wasn’t 280$ for the cup at target *where they got it* that was on ebay and ebay prices go for a lot higher sometimes. the cup they got was about $70. still expensive but nothing near 300 lol. 😊 hope this helps
I respect that he’s doing this for his daughter. I know this will be a core memory for her when she grows up. It’ll make her feel special her dad sacrificed his sleep for a Stanley cup for her.
Wow i thought we were boycotting Starbucks but once they released the limited edition Stanley's cup people seem to forget about it...says alot about us...
@@Idkkk20it did alright, starbucks lost 11billion dollars and they are losing more. Now starbucks is turning to the materialism-obsessed girlies who have no remorse for human life, these aren't part of the millions boycotting starbucks
@PopthemtagsAllday-sp1fb I'm sure there are literally hundreds of BETTER things to do when you're bored then stand outside of Target at 1am in the morning trying to buy a pink cup 🥤
@@nhkk9now imagine if you were homeless, hungry, stranded, and trapped with your loved one already dead or dying. You all have no shame🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ FREE PALESTINE🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
@@Ridge31040$ ain't much. He didn't buy it from someone reselling it, which is the over 200$ price. He literally said in this thread that it was only 40$ retail. Still, either amount is sweet but a little much for a cup imo, but I'd probably do the same for my daughter if I had one
Ok and ? If y'all really cared then you would've gone to Palestine yourself and saved the people but no your at a phone typing this 😬like go to do something productive that can stop the genocide
i know this much for a cup is crazy but its kinda wholesome that hes doing this for her daughter, even when shes older if she doesnt have the cup, shes gonna remember her dad pulling an all nighter outside of target for her
I remember when my Daddy would take his green Stanley tumbler out with him whenever he would go deer hunting. That's the only reason I even got a Stanley, was just to have a little memory of him around.
same, my dad took his to work every day & night when he worked swing shift when i was a kid… i actually saw a stanley starbucks classic green coffee mug before the stanley’s went viral and got it for him for father’s day… now he carries it to work every day❤
lol I bought a knock off pink with handle and a cup holder 40oz works and looks just like a Stanley ! Paid $9.99 on amazon! Got to sleep and saved a bunch of money ! And my daughter was just as happy! Reminds me of the wacki packs sticker madness back in 1973 ! When stickers and bubble gum at .25 cents how people went crazy ! Then a year later no one cared about the stickers! I still have my Stanley thermos green from 1980 still works fine and paid about $5 for it ! It’s just a thermos now in pink or different colors !
it’s like everyone forgot before 2020 when this happened all the time for new games, consoles, phones, or even new restaurants and stores that open up. just because this time they are waiting for a cup doesn’t change that it’s always happened. the ONLY THING THAT CHANGED was the thing they are selling is stupid to a large majority of people. those people feel entitled to shit on it. i feel entitled to shit on anyone who waited in line for the PS5 even though it had no games yet. but i don’t say that to anyone because that would make me the asshole. i say it in my head. like a normal person.
Honestly weird that people are waiting on line for these Stanleys but so nice for a dad to do this for his daughter. My dad used to be dragged to concerts and crap he didn’t want to go too. And this dad is showing his dedication and love To his daughter in their own way
yall need to stop hating, he didnt say he waits 6 hours for every single thing his daughter wants, she really liked a cup and he decided to be sweet and get it for her, everyone is freaking out about it, but at the end of the day its only 50$, in 2024 that will buy you not even 1/4 of groceries for a week. chill out guys.
It’s funny you mention burning down target, that’s what happened to my target two days ago😬 not the whole thing but a good chunk of it was burned pretty good and all of the inventory is destroyed from the sprinkler system
@@ustinklol. i mean like i own 3 they are very good cups and they actually don’t dent very easily unless it like drops very hard and you can decorate the straw and cup so.
@@MacieROLLTIDE no im like saying everyone is kinda upset because that cup was made in collaboration with Starbucks and Starbucks is kinds going thru drama right now😅😅
For all of yall saying that this is unnecessary. Think that maybe this will be the best memory for his daughter so it is not unnecessary it just shows how much love he has for her
The way they came about this was better than I’ve seen “we were board wanting something to do for fun so we did this” that’s something his daughter is going to look back on her childhood and say “ my dad was amazing, he offered to wake up at 12 am and drive me to target to wait a few hours for a cup” she’ll probably think the cup was a little much, but worth it to spend that kind of dedication and time with her dad. I personally wouldn’t do this unless I knew my future child had an interest in something that was popular and would think it would be fun to wake up early and wait outside a store for 6 hours
Can y’all stop getting mad at this guy for being a good dad. He had the time and money to do this, and he was having fun. I don’t see why this affects anyone else at all. And before you say “he shouldn’t feed into his daughter’s delusions” don’t ask like you have NEVER spent money on something dumb as a kid.
well what abt ppl from here 🇵🇸 they get affected a lot they are being STARVED, KILLED, BOMBED AND MORE while you guys are giving starbucks money to HELP THE COUNTRY THAT IS KILLING THEM!
key sentence "I love my daughter" yall can't hate because our parents and grandparents used to do the same for us he's just making his daughter happy so i don't understand why people hate on this stuff so much, not only him but i've seen tons of people get hate for it 😭
@@raffou24100the resale price was over $200, they payed $40 for it (still a lot) but that means that they can resell it for lots of money in a few years time

The cups have a little circled thing at the bottom that contains a massive amount of led and when the cup gets damaged the led starts to fill the bottle and becomes unsafe to drink
I have ONE 40 ounce Stanley that I payed for with babysitting money, it helps me drink so much more water, but I’ve seen people in my class who have a different Stanley for every day of the week. It’s insane.
