As soon as I saw the moustache grow in the first like 30 seconds, I was like, he better grow a full beard through this vid. Then there was like 4 mins of no change and I was about to be angry haha. Best video ever. If only my beard would grow that quick. I can't even get that a full a beard after 5 years growth 🤣

I ain’t lying Josh, I’m upset man. I really don’t care for portals but I bought 2 Phoenix last year. Now y’all have the str8 axles and I absolutely love them. Hook ya boy up or at least trade me 😁. My rigs are still new never ran them but they are partially assembled. Really really luv those str8 axles.

Any chance you’ll make a comparison video going over whys different on the Phoenix straight vs Portal, Pro, Ultra and Origin? I’m leaning towards this. Would there be any big reason to go with a Pro vs straight Phoenix? The Ultra/Pro owners are telling me to avoid the Phoenix. The Phoenix owners are telling me to go for it. Last question, I have two full sets of Holmes purple bits to go into this and the Element based Gspeed V3. Only one motor is the 1800 and the other is the 2700. If you had to pick which speed would you put in this and an Element based build?

The Pro is my all time favorite truck, but it’s twice the cost. The Pro doesn’t have dig or selectable overdrive, but comes with the standard overdrive with absolutely bulletproof drivetrain (machined gears and steel driveshafts). The shocks on the Phoenix are better IMO. The body is personal preference of course. There are many differences, it doesn’t make one a clear choice over the other though. Motor choices, both will be fine motors in either car. One will be slower of course, but just depends on your driving style.

@@HarleyDesignsInc I just love the idea of the aggressive OD that’s selectable. I did the transfer case reverse with A&M skid on my TF2. Building a 37%+/- element based V3 and learning I can’t trail them that much as things break or get hot. Want something I can keep more stock so figured straight Phoenix, dig locked out and run it with my 2700 purple Holmes set (motor, esc and servo). Leaning towards the power wagon cab though.
