NEW STUDIO FAIL, HOMESCHOOLING OUR KIDS, READING YOUR EMAILS 

You should have a mother’s day podcast with both your moms.

As an educator I would homeschool but make sure to establish a routine and put the kids in a lot of extracurricular activities at least 3-4 days a week in order to have social skills. School nowadays is mainly based on iPads. If I have the time I would homeschool my kiddos. Also speaking to your children in Spanish and English won’t delay them, I can vouch for that as a Speech Therapist.

Homeschooling is easier then you think! There are different methods of homeschooling! Search the different methods and just dont worry. Each kid learns differently, but right now, homeschooled kids are overachieving any public student, and colleges are preferring Homeschooled kids.

I’ve been homeschooling my oldest son for a little over 3 years now (he’s in 4th grade) and have him in soccer so he gets interactions with other kids. I plan to homeschool the rest of my kids . I love it. I feel like there’s a lot more opportunities and options than there was before . You go with what your mom heart tells you to and feel comfortable with.

I homeschooled my kids, Both my kids are fluent in English and Spanish I incorporated both as young kids and it worked. I did it under my church homeschool so we would have field trips where they could still interact with kids all spoke English so was a plus. Good luck to you both you are amazing parents.

I really respect you guys and I know people may judge for the ads, but in reality, it’s amazing that you guys have the opportunities and that alone is respectable. You guys are younger than me, but watching you guys is refreshing because you’re trying. You’re working hard, and really bringing that entrepreneurial spirit to the world, people can take a page out of your book. I’m a homeschooling mama of 4. We started homeschooling during La Rona because we totally fell between the cracks with their school. We have children with autism, they’re all boys, and we own a small business. I would definitely benefit from sending them to school and having the time. And I always ALWAYS hated on homeschool. But now, I absolutely love it! They’re thriving. They love it, they’re comfortable, they can eat and use the bathroom whenever they want, which is surprisingly the thing they say they love the most. 😂 We do plan on sending them back for high school, like y’all said, but that will be up to them and I will gladly continue if they want to. But you can absolutely do it, girl. And I am horrible at math, but honestly, if you can follow the books, you can literally teach them anything! There’s also math programs that will teach your children for you that are great! Also, you can get the work from the schools, but after this journey, I’ve learned that the school work is hand picked by people with their own agenda. It’s very one sided and most importantly, every child learns differently. I’ve had to go through different curriculum but I’ve really found what works. You can buy all your own curriculum and I also believe it is a tax write off. Also, you can teach in many different styles if you want. Secular, religious, charlotte mason, etc. There is literally something for everyone. There’s also resources online, like teacherspayteachers (.com) that have great and inexpensive (sometimes even free) resources, made by other teachers so both parties benefit. You can also even find a homeschool co op! Shoot, if you have enough people, you can start your own! The possibilities are endless! Anyway, just wanted to spread the information. I recommend you read about childhood development and socialization. Your child will be influenced by every decision you make for them and homeschooling is a going to be a direct impact on them. I’ve read some comments saying that homeschooled kids thrive more academically,and although that may be true (or not), traditional public schooling is a great setting for social and academic success. I wouldn’t have an opinion until you figure out what’s best for your kids.

So happy to hear you both are planning to homeschool. I started homeschooling my 4 year old. It has been amazing! Homeschool is not for everyone, for sure! But by seeing franco and the way you guys have guide him, it seems like it would be perfect fit for him. I'm in California, there are many options to start homeschooling, either charter groups, co-ops or homeschooling at home. You can do both co-ops and homeschool, but everything they learn is up to you. If you choose to do charter school, then they have a curriculum you need to follow. Charter school can help you financially, but ypu need to report data and test to government, I think this is what blanca meant when she said go to the school and ask for curriculum. If you homeschool at home, you need to file a PSA every October and that's it! You choose your curriculum:) We use the Good and the Beautiful along with Wondergarten Curriculum. It has been amazing as a mom to see my son learn (learning together)🤍 Best of wishes, I know blanca's teacher heart will be so happy!

I'm home schooled my baby girl till she was 6 almost 7 and I loved it ❤ now she's the top of her class and knows way more then the other students A+ student and is student of the month twice. You do what you guys feel right I had a hard time sending her to school but she's loving it more then anything and is loving the friendships she is building ❤ I told myself If I felt like it was getting really bad at school or I felt she wasn't doing well I would pull her out and continue to home school her ❤ but so far so good she's loving I'm loving it

I work in education & had a homeschooled child transition into public school for 5th grade & forward. It was so hard for him to follow rules and norms because he never had any of that. He always thought he could do whatever 🫠 it was a tough one…. It took months for him to adjust! It all has pro/cons.

So they have Apex homeschool program here in Longmont. They go to school once a week and 3-high school you choose which classes you want them to take. It can be electives only or a mix of math, English, science, history and electives. You still have time to figure it all out. Yes, and there are after school activities. Everything will work out.

OMG you guys! Happy for you guys that you're Homeschooling your babies! Franco will do amazing! I pulled out my preeschooler a year ago because of fear of something happening, he's 4 now and I'm slowly getting into a homeschooling routine with him... We do spanish at home 24/7 but I'm doing some English during school work and he's doing great with that. Don't be nervous about doing English school work with him once he's a little older.

This podcast is amazing to listen to ❤ I homeschool my son I get so much hate on because of his socializing but they don’t get it it’s better to have them safe because you never know I m from Colorado my son is in kindergarten going to first grade he loves doing homeschool❤ my son is actually learning more than what other kids are learning at regular school & also some give you the school supplies the one my son goes to is k12 & there’s even teachers teaching him

My husband and I are also considering homeschooling my 2 & 1 year old boy. I have a 13 year old daughter that is in public school and she loves it and thankfully nothing has happened but I’m always on the edge when she leaves and I hear the crazy stories out there.

Look into a dual language immersion classroom set up!!! Half the day in the Spanish (math, literacy, and science) and half the day in English (literacy and social studies). You can do that model at home.

Homeschooling is a hot topic. Education starts at home therefore our children will and can be incluenced by others actions but because we have been intentional in their education it shouldnt a negative thing. Seclusion and isolation from SEEING the world is like us as adults surviving the Pandemic.

I spoke to my son in English first and then Spanish and now that’s he’s almost 3 he understands both languages well. We mostly speak english in our home and he hears Spanish from his grandparents and me sometimes. They’re so small they can pick up languages well, I say speak to the kids in both languages so they won’t be behind in either language 💙

As a person who was homeschooled their entire life, it has its pros and its cons but definitely going to homeschool my children

I completely agree with the homeschooling y with the language aspect, he will pick up English and social skills with taking him to the park, libraries, other activities with other kids where the parents are also invested in their kid. I’m going to homeschool my kids and I’ve already started going here and there with them and letting them speak for themselves and order their own stuff at 3 and 4, we travel sometimes and I would hate moving them from school to school not knowing what the teachers are teaching or anything. Everyday my sister tells me how boring her day was, they did little to nothing and proceeds to show me videos of them disrespecting the teachers or just doing whatever they want. I truly believe schools were made to control people’s kids and now with how much they know off social media these kids are controlling not being controlled anymore, you don’t know what they’re teaching or anything anymore, they learn more from their peers than anything, it’s a place to drop your kids off, free daycare🤷🏻‍♀️ let’s be honest we can clean, cook and teach, we just don’t so we have time to get our nails done, lashes done, hair done which isn’t really required for a moms job description, I understand taking care of yourself but women nowadays prioritize themselves over their kids, we got to stop giving the government our kids so they can corrupt them and start being the moms we need to be for our kid’s sake, I know so many people that went to school and graduated and can’t spell or can’t do basics and I’m like a dropout GED adult is more successful than a high school graduate 🤦🏻‍♀️ your kid’s future all depends on how the parents raise them but with everything happening nowadays I rather clean, cook, teach what they need, teach things they will need in life unlike schools, teach languages and teach about god.

I have been homeschooling my eldest through a charter since K. I am glad I made that choice, especially now that my kid is in jr high. The stuff in public classrooms does not align with my values.

In my experience, homeschooled kids may have been smarter however they really lacked social skills. Once you’re behind on social skills it’s really hard to catch up.

I wonder why some kids are in a school that isn’t the best and start following the crowd and why some kids don’t. Is it personality? Like 3 kids raised by the same people, one of them will go to the wrong crowd and another won’t, why? Pros of home school-I like the flexibility of the schedule I think our kids generations have all of these options. I think our parents didn’t have a choice bc they had to work bc that’s the system

What about private school? Truly interested in a discussion. I have that debate in my head. Public education is really going down hill. I think public, private, & homeschool all have their pros and cons, and it’s a matter of deciding what we think is best in that moment for our children. We all want what’s best for our children.

I know this lady I forgot her @ but she lives in Florida and home schools her kids but it’s more of a home school with other kids like 7 kids in total. Maybe look into it

I was homeschooled my whole school years :) My experience was bad bc they were our adopted parents and they were like Amish. So terrible 😢 We had no friends and I’m very shy and not confident. BUT I want to homeschool sometimes. 😅 I have a 8 year old daughter and she has been made fun of at school. She’s been called a “black bitch by a 2nd grade classmate. 😳🤦🏽‍♀️ Makes me so mad. I have a new baby boy and I don’t want him to go to school either lol! They learn a lot of bad stuff 😢 I was adopted at 7 and immediately adopted into a white Amish like family. I think it would be different with better parents or biological parents.

I use to think like you guys when I had my son I wanted to home school him and protect him from the outside world but reality check hits on you when you don’t have the time to home school and you damage your kids in a way from not letting them go to school it is a tough time when they start going to school because they are not use to it and parents either but at the end of the day I don’t regret letting my son go to public school like I did. He loves it and has friends he is already a teenager and tells me that he would have hated it if I would have decided to home school him.

I think the biggest red flag on the first advice is he never put a stop to her trash talking. He never set boundaries and gave her the respect as his girlfriend. So ultimately it’s questionable if he has respect for you as a boyfriend
