you ain't kidding I also think that it gives them some kind of attention deficit of reality because all they want to do is look at the screen when you talk to them whoever it is they're really not interested what's going on
That's why our house had to give it all up. Now, I have to learn to use my phone less. We have given up TV, tablets, and computers. My husband and I still have our phones, which can be a problem too. But we all do so much better without the electronics. Me and my four year old read so much more, and we play more.
Hate crime. Cause the real effective parenting. Is interaction with your child. This includes being a role model when they are misbehaving. More importantly getting them to listen when you want them to and finding out how to in an appropriate manner.

Why would you even say that when there is a clear step wise relationship between less screen time and a child’s mental health and IQ, meaning that sure three hours a week is better than six hours a week but zero hours a week is better than three hours a week. You should recommend what’s optimal, not what you think is convenient.
I’ve seen it myself, I was changing my break pads and my nephew came by with his dad, had absolutely zero interest in what’s I was doing and wanted to go home and play his tablet, when I was a kid if I saw an adult fixing a car my interest would instantly be fixed on that and I would want to watch.
Yeah, we already knew this when computers first came out. Electronic use is for adults. Children shouldn't use them at all. Kids should start being introduced to electronics when they become teenagers.
Challenges are part of life. As Christians pray with your children. Maybe a study will show to much tv is bad for you too. Reading a book was seem a long time as bad for children thus it is vital too spend time with your children not to past them to schools to deal with them.
