NEW SUPER BATTLE DROID & C-3PO Star Wars Black Series Hasbro Pulse Action Figure REVIEW 

I know this is unrelated, but in terms of 3PO, I wish we can get a Phantom Menace ‘unfinished version’ of him in 1/12 scale.

Such a momentous occasion for TBS. A B2 was on top of many of our wishlists for years. I’m so glad we finally have it, especially in this “golden age” of Black Series, as it’s honestly one of the best figures in the entire line. Super happy with it! Can’t wait for the Droideka, and hopefully Commando Droid not far behind!

You guys have waited a long time for this moment. TBS fans rejoice! The SBD is here!

Got mine a couple days ago. Love the SBD of course but I think I'm one of the few people who were actually also looking forward to the C-3PO-B1. I love that whole bit in AOTC and "DIE, JEDI DOGS! ...Wh-what did I say?!" has been stuck in my head ever since seeing Ep II the first time. Great review, Nate!

That's a cool 2 pack,can't wait to get a bunch of those super battle droids for the shelf, so funny the hasbro team did not even mention the removable armour a awesome surprise to find out it was removable, great review as always

The shot of the SBD kicking R2 is perfect. Awesome review on the coolest droid we have got by far, and the 3p0 B1 is pretty cool too!

This review may have convinced me to get this set. I know you mentioned possibly getting a 3PO body with the b1 head and I think it would go perfect in a 2 pack with the new r2 with added rocket boosters from the droid factory

Easy re use with this for the rocket B2s and the B2s with canon arms etc. Can't wait for all the versions of the B2 coming hopefully.

That knee moves more. It’s sculpted to nest in thigh like the B1. This droid can throw great shapes. The heft is very surprising. Fantastic fig!

Why do they do so much stuff Pulse only? Beyond the Pulse exclusives, it's such an absurd struggle to find literally anything in stores (target/walmart) that's not a Lando. Gets old having to buy everything online

The SBD is definitely the best droid in the line, its magnificent. My Threepio also stands a lot better than my other BTs, which was unexpected. Just luck I assume, I can't imagine they spent money messing with the tooling. I wish it had included the BT head though, as much as the initial fuss over it being missing was over the top they already have the tooling for it and a lot of collectors would have bought multiple sets. It just seems like an odd missed opportunity.

The recent R2 is the best droid. This droid is nice but I'd put the Dark troopers ahead of this as well.

I don't care for the design of the B2 (the 'beefcake B1' look is too on-the-nose for me, and also I'm not a fan of the art deco style), but the removable head and chestplate is such a cool feature, I might end up getting a couple when the figure is released on its own sometime in the future, just for that reason. Really love that they added that in when nobody expected them to. Love droidekas though, can't wait to get my grubby little hands on a few of those!

Hello Nate thanks for your review of the C-3P0/Battle Droid and the Super Battle Droid figures 2 pack. I haven't picked up this set of figures, I'm undecided if I want them or not. I certainly hope that we will get an AOTC C-3P0 as he looked on Lar's farm. The figures look good and I was surprised how well the Super Battle Droid is able to stand. Absolute perfection

Is this a Mandela effect? I have seen multiple reviews of this 2 pack and not a single reviewer has put the SBD in the pose where it’s bending its right elbow and holding its arm cannon up in the idle position. I remember that being an iconic pose yet not a single reviewer has put him in it I feel like I’m going crazy

I see people on IG pages making fun of people who bought 2pk now that single release of Super Battle Droid got officially announced , as box collector I hate 2pks but I wanted C-3PO so I don't mind this one however do you think it would be more fair game when Hasbro does this 2PK's they let us know single versions will be done as well?

On Hasbro, its not listed under "Exclusives" or under the regular shopping "SWBS", had to locate it under search, so weird, and the regular Super Battle Droid is SOLD OUT as well as the Gree set, I will never understand how the people that make it, sell out? And not push out the receive date to make more? Do they ever acknowledge making more if the item sells out in less than a week? I have to assume they monitor eBau prices too for what they might re-issue (Mind-binder, VAMP, ATV, various SWBS, on and on) Lately my energy for all this rushing around is making me tired of this company, my next to last company I buy toys from....

Oh c’mon you going to stop at 4 after waiting this long for a Super Battle Droid? Even though scene specific I’m tempted to buy another set with that chest plate being removable. Awesome stuff, but I’m trying to survive the NECA Haulathon… ✌️- Josh
