I'll admit it - I completely skipped the DS back when it came out. I was super into PC gaming at that point, and my only exposure to the handheld was from a room mate and a few kids that my mom would watch sometimes. Fast forward to about two months ago, where I go on a bit of a DS-games-I-never-played binge. This was one of the games I picked up, and it's just great! A classic, with an amazing classic Mario soundtrack! Hopefully all the people who requested this song enjoy this, and I have to say...it's great to be back making music!

He’s always been around and it’s always been heartening to see updates and new videos from him. @@aaronhackett6626 Honestly, not that much at the time. That was in 2008. I loved Fusion, Zero Mission, and the first two Prime games (Echoes is my all time favorite). Super didn't really grab me on the first playthrough. But I beat it again in 2010 and enjoyed it much more. I've beaten it dozens of times since then.

This is bringing me straight back to the 8-hour car trip I first played this game on. Squinting because of the sunshine on my dirty DS screen. Sitting under a pine tree playing the Mario vs Luigi thing with a friend in 3rd grade. I used to wonder why people liked the older Mario games so much. Now I understand.

New Super 2 is especially egregious where you don't even get the full BAH and a bit of breath after each one. It's just this premature BA- that cuts off each time.

This cover is fucking ridiculously good. I bought an old Nintendo DS a few weeks ago just to replay this game! It was literally the PERFECT Mario game in every aspect! And the multiplayer mode was FUN AS HELL.
