How do they make the Ludwig fight look so easy. That boss troubled me so much, I still to this day say that it’s harder than the final boss. And these guys just finish it in seconds. Wow

I’ll still give them credit for not taking damage on all bosses except the last one, it’s literally impossible with 4 but hey I’ll give you all praise for being a team, I did appreciate it how you all waited for all to come together before flooding Bowser
I have the game and I still play it sometimes. It's not fun playing it by myself though because I always die. On a few occasions, I'll beat the levels.

I'm gonna freely comment that I think this is pretty much an "ideal" Mario game, since it's...just...a modern *"regular"* Mario game I guess. Most Mario games have some sort of theme, like the island/vacation theme In Super Mario Sunshine, the space/universe theme in Super Mario Galaxy, or the prehistoric/dinosaur theme in Super Mario World. In this game, the general theme itself is...well, Mario and the Mushroom Kingdom. 🤷♀️That make sense? It's got the basics for the Mario games--riding Yoshi, Bowser kidnapping Peach, fighting Bowser Jr. and the koopa kids, rescuing Toads, getting power-ups, playing as Luigi. The thing is though, I think it would be cool if it was in a 3D game, not 2D, since the former is Mario's general universe and they only have seven Mario 3D quest games out of the whole series. Eight if you count Super Mario 64 DS, but I don’t because it’s pretty much merely a remake and DS version of the original Super Mario 64. And I think little towns to visit and word bubble conversations with the inhabitants would be a nice touch, as you get in the Paper Mario games or Super Mario Sunshine. While I'm here, I have a couple questions. I'm just curious, but are two-eyed power-ups, like Starmen and Fire Flowers, sentient and alive. And if I wanted to play Luigi only, even if it's just me playing the game, would I easily be able to?
Damn 2 years, I’ll answer your questions. The power ups being sentient thing, I am not too sure but I believe they are sorta sentient? Not too sure but they definitely move and dance. As for the playing as a certain character thing, no you can’t play as luigi or the toads if you are by yourself (trust me, I have always wanted to play as blue toad but can’t because I am lonely)
It shouldve took the koopalings 12 hits on the head for them to die or have 4 of the same koopalings fighting against 4 players, that wouldve been more fair and fun
