There have been some videos floating around showcasing anti-piracy measures taken by Nintendo in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but not a lot of talk about the version implemented here in the UK.

This is FAKE if it wasn't obvious. People are currently creating fake anti-piracy screens for fun and I wanted to chime in with my take. This is a mod with custom music, levels, text, and animations created entirely by myself for the purpose of this video. Do not submit this to preservationists or dataminers. They will laugh at you.
I wanted to make this stand out amongst other anti-piracy memes which just copy the MPDS text in a less convincing way. Not that this is convincing, but it doesn't try to be. Characters are still in role and all that. I made it my goal to re-animate all the characters in the opening cutscene to ruin them. I originally tried removing them all to nail a more creepy vibe, but I was having trouble getting it to work.
