I never beat it as a kid and i remember very well this was colossal hard and then 2 years later mario bros 2 comes out and is easier than cleaning a house with only a kitchen, a room and a bathroom
Just walk in the certain pattern they did in 3:00. You gotta walk in that certain pattern to progress to the next level. When you go he right way it should make a du dum noise. When you go the wrong way it makes a wrong buZzer noise
omg, same! i was cleaning my room when i saw my dsi and decided i should play again since it’s summer. i really missed it :’) and i really wanna finally beat this level lmao. got stuck on it years ago too
I remember that the first time I beat this stage, I was so tired and I immediately turned off my DS and went to bed. Needless to say, I was horrified the next morning when I realised that it hadn’t saved lmao
It does give you the option to save after you complete any tower or castle level (or unlock a starcoin path). You need to make sure you select yes, although after you have completed the final boss, you then have the option added on to save at anytime.
reyes andrea I remember when I was 8 (I’m now nearly 14) and I got to this stage and my sister erased all my games,I was so angry 😂 finally I’ve completed it and all Mario gets is a pecking on the cheek ffs
What I did was made sure I had my fire power at the end of the level when entering the boss room and shot both bosses with fireballs. You do have to be vary of which one you decided to shoot of first. If you clear off the little one first, the big one becomes more aggressive and breathes out more fireballs.
Fun story: I beat bowser in this game by accident. So I was gonna kill myself in the game to restart since I lost all my power ups and then Bowser JUMPED!!! XD I beat the game on my bus too in winter of 2012. I got the game 6 months ago from that day. What an adventure.
This was the first game I ever beat. I'll always remember when I saw the ending scene and how emotional it felt for me for some reason. Such a great game
Kylus Racha I remember my cousin wanted me to do this boss fight for her, and I just triple jumped over bowser, definitely one of the top ten moments in my life
What I did was shot at both Bosses with the fireballs. You should be vary of which one you shoot dead first, ie if you clear off the little boss, the big one becomes more aggressive and breathes out more fireballs.
When I was a kid I was too afraid of the skeleton koopas....so I let my dad finishes the game 😂 , I was so impressed , he was really good 😱 now , are 5 years that I don't see him at all and watching this again after 9 years....hurts a little
Playing on a DS always feels different to the YT videos... Like, I played on my DSi XL again and was sort of impressed (though I do admit its age was showing), but looking at gameplay uploaded to RU-vid it looked way different
@@FarmYardGaming Yea that's partially dodgy pixel scaling, pixels being scaled up by an integer just being larger too, and video compression. I still play around with my dsi sometimes and the pixels are so much smaller than it looks in youtube videos that the graphics genuinely look pretty neat
Aighhh😭😭😭😭So much memories! I remember when I was 6 years old and I asked my brother to help me by killing Bowser (I always died with entering Bowser’s door sadly) but when my brother killed him, I cried because I thought it was the end😭😭It is my favorite game if all times
What you should do is make sure you go in the boss room with the fire power (and that stored item). You then shoot both Bosses with the fireballs (especially the big one). If you shoot of the little one before the big boss, then the big one will become more aggressive.
@@sheridanstringer2932this is the original sew super Mario which is came out on the ds in 2006, you have the new super mario bros WII which came out for the wii after this one
As far as I remember, the fastest way possible to this Castle are the following Exits, Warp Pipes and Warp Cannons in this order. 1: World 1-1 2: Secret Exit In World 1-2 (Path Also Has A Red Toad House) 3: Secret Exit In The World 1 Tower 4: World 1 Warp Cannon To World 5 5: World 5-1 6: Secret Exit In World 5-2 7: Warp Pipe To World 5-3 8: Secret Exit In The World 5 Ghost House 9: World 5 Warp Cannon To World 8 10: World 8-1 11: World 8-2 12: World 8 Tower 1 13: World 8-3 14: World 8-4 15: World 8 Castle 16: World 8-5 17: World 8-6 18: World 8-7 19: World 8-8 20: World 8 Tower 2
Whenever I fought the final boss of this specific game, I always fought Bowser Jr like you do in the fortress; the long way of throwing a shell at his face, and then I went after Bowser, not only did it let the final boss theme stay longer, but it was actually quite a tough fight for a Mario game like that.
Héla Guezmirh Memory castle. You have to go the right way, or you’ll end up in the same room you were just in. If you follow what was in the video, you’ll see where to go. Or just keep trying paths until you hear the confirmation sound.
God, I remember being so fascinated by this stage when I was a kid. I don't know why, but I guess it's because I reached the final level and the gimmick of this level was gravity-based. I remember playing this level all the time. Those were the days...
Man I was in 3rd grade when my mom bought me a DS and the first game was nsmb1 and I enjoyed it. When I heard there was a sequel nsmb2. I wanted it so bad. Only to realize it was bad.
@@vxwdarkdemon3756 The final Bowser fight is not easy. It's so platforming, literally. The Dry Bowser battle is a bit tougher than the normal Bowser because some of the platforms are tinier.
I was 6 when I played this I believe? It had just come out. This level was so hard for my tiny brain to grasp i had to get my dad to get through the castle so I could fight the final boss
I never beat this level when I was a kid. I remember doing well then I'd get stuck in a corridor that was really long/endless (I can't really remember) I would just always run out of time because of that one corridor. I'm probably going to buy this game again at some point to actually beat it
Hello everyone, can anyone help me with this 😃 I have a slight problem I needed to know around 3:10 I get around there and my game keeps going around and around (meaning I get past it and I see it again ) and never get to the doors what ami doing wrong or is it the game
The same thing happened but it either has a bad sound which means it is wrong or a good sound which means it is right. You must be doing it wrong, just watch what he does in video
I remember when I was 6 I completed that on a nice summer day sitting at my balcony When lockdown in 2020 happened I completed this again and felt so good I should definitely play that game again but I'm really busy nowadays and there's no time but I should totally do it again
Short story long; the paths you take, top bottom or middle, will either let you continue or loop you to doing it again. It's really cool how they pulled it off. The path to take is bottom, top, middle. switching lanes mid way will also make you loop over. if done correctly, the ding sound will ring and you will continue, if not, theres another X sound making you try again.
This is a really easy final boss fight, which I find pathetic. The first Bowser battle is just like the final Bowser fight except the only real difference is that Bowser Jr. now fights along his dad. However, it is a neat idea to battle both of them at the same time. I always start by defeating Bowser Jr. first, and obviously, this really makes Bowser angry. He spits a lot of fire balls at you, but it doesn't really matter because while avoiding them can be kind of tough, you can just knock him out with fire balls or just run underneath him when he jumps, then hit the switch, then you've basically already won. I do love the fact that when you defeat Bowser Jr. first, Bowser gets so pissed; it adds a lot of excitement to the fight!
Even now, this is still my favorite Mario game of all time. Entirely nostalgic bias, I realize, but come on… it’s such a charming sequel to Mario World. Love this game to bits.
I remember when I played this game and I got to world 8-castle I played the dry bowser boss and after beating the boss, My heart pounded fast knowing that there was more!
