New Super Mario World 2: Around The World | Super Mario World ROM Hack (SNES/Super Nintendo) | スーパーマリオワールド Creator(s): Pink Gold Peach Released: July 9, 2019 www.smwcentral...
Love, love, LOVE the mechanics chosen. The enemies are from damn near every early SMB games, level designs are fantastic, and the music stolen from other games and tweaked into what they are; Phenomenal. Kudos to the creator.
I've always wanted a sequel to this game. I was hoping 64 would be a 3d version of this but I was miserably disappointed. 64 was still great in it's own right.
The only part of Yoshi Island that was good was when baby bowser grows into a 100 foot giant and even then they stole that idea from that stupid movie Honey I Blew Up the Kid.
These are the kind of worlds I imagined when I played this game as a little kid. So many good memories of beating a castle and then moving on to another world.
If only you could make things in SMM2 this beautiful... no seriously, you did an awesome job on this. I just happened to stumble across this, and expected it to be a very plain and boring ROM hack, but there was an original soundtrack, cool new remixes, and beautiful SNES authentic looking sprites! Amazing job! Edit : Wow, 9:46 has some good rhythm XD
Dude... yess this is my thoughts exactly. I don't know what the deal is but I have been seeing rom hacks that are just as good if not even better than regular full fledged games dang
@@thepest354 pussy effort, hmm, well, IIRC for someone like you it takes an extreme amount of effort to get pussy, meaning I can only imagine how much effort you believe was used.
NSMW 1: 12 Magic Orbs was actually my favorite hack, although I had issues with it like being a bit linear in terms of the worlds. But then, here comes a more polished sequel.
Odd double-monty moles that throw bombs, glitchy sound and a dodgy World 4-6 boss. There are certain things that could be improved. SMWCentral rejected it over some reasons like this...
I want to play this *because* it's not crazy over-the-top. Ridiculously difficult SMW ROM hacks are the vast majority of the hacks, and usually don't pay any attention to fine details visually. There's less than 10 well-balanced hacks like this on all the internet, and this one is one of a kind when it comes to how much extra detail went into the game to make it even better than the original Mario World.
I'm exactly 17:39 into this and holy crap! - this is awesome! All I wanna do right now is play this game. Hell, might go dig out my SNES and put on the original. Coz I'm in the mood for it now
This is the perfect example of good work when you put your mind to it! So many levels! Challenging puzzles! New mechanics! So much was added in those 3 years, it’s not even a ROM Hack anymore. It’s a stand-alone game, and it is proud to show that!
Damn the background is def what was missing from the original super mario world,it brings more of the world to life,as well as adding more design to these levels overall ^_^
This is the reason SMW will always be my favorite Mario because there’s so many possibilities to what you can do with the worlds and levels. When the first Mario Maker was announced in development that’s what I thought it was going to be, a game centered around SMW creating worlds and levels, maybe someday...
I love the incorporation of Ninjis!! They were in Super Mario World but in only 1 part of 1 stage, iirc so it’s great to see so many here!! Beautiful beautiful work here.
Actually, the original _Super Mario World_ video game came out in the *_early 1990's_* and *_NOT_* the late 1980's: 1990 (Japan), 1991 (North America) and 1992 (Europe). *_Figurative HELL,_* even *_Super Mario Bros. 3_* didn't come out until *_*1990*_* in most parts of the world (only in Japan did it come out in the late 1980's)!
This is basically just me asking for the names of the songs at various times. I'm editing as I watch foward. What's the song at 2:11? I've heard it in so may hacks, and it has just become my favorite of all custom music tracks. Watching forward, 23:23 is also one of my favorites. What is it called? Still watching. I NEED to know the song of Rainy Road at 1:00:15. It's so calming! Deep Dark Woods at 1:02:09. That's all. It just sounds so cosmic.
You know what's weird about the RU-vid Algorithm? I see this thumbnail in my feed, my brain goes "Oh cool that looks new and interesting! Check it out!" So I do thinking I am seeing something new and interesting...only to find out I have upvoted it before at some point, a long time ago. :o
I like how the most replayed part in the video is when it has a massive stutter so everyone rewinds a few seconds to see if it's a problem with their computer.
3:56 *Hears music* Mod creator is my new favorite person. This is one of my fa orite songs in all the Marioverse and I always felt it would go great as Yoshi's new theme song. Yoshi needs more love and attention lol
It's really easy to do a simple SMW hack. You don't need knowledge of programming. It's Just like do a level in Mario Maker, but with many more possibilities. (Sorry for my bad english).
This looks so freakin’ awesome it ain’t even funny! I’d play this in a heartbeat if I could get my hands on it. It’s great to see the ninjis in here too.
