I was also infinite looping a boss on the 2nd top floor of hospital by putting it in the caged area near the gen with the hole next room and just going around, infinite looping boss then he decided to kick it giving me time to runaway
with some buffs and tweaks to his system he'll be so goated. even now as he is currently he makes a decent support imo. when he comes to the main game he's gonna be my new main
hes good, just depends on the user, I find him really good for helping teammates transition if they dont have a movement perk and I found out his perk is a sphere where it works on hospital too
now that hes out and ive played him in a few rounds, they tweaked his stats a bit from the testing, but one of its best uses is, as you said, placing it in areas where its inconvenient to kick. some places ive found to be useful are the near the bottom of the escalators on shifty station, the stairs in dawnwood pines, and in the corner of that one room in wastewater, since its near a vault and if the killer chooses to kick it, you have enough time to transition to another.
Ive tested him out on every map and shifty must be the no.1 map for him. There are multiple thin vaults/walls that allows you to place your lantern on the other side of the vault/wall which allows you to safely grab your lamp back in that 1s stun the killers in and you can make an inf by putting your lamp in that spot over and over again until they manage to break it
Dante seems very niche he is reminiscent of Crystal/Sarah/Kiara to me. Like I feel like you have to be a special type of player to be good at playing him.
I don't wanna give an opinion since I've only played like, ~5 rounds? But i will anyway So, against Dante it feels like torture since you *have* to focus on kicking the lantern or he's just gonna casually infi loop you, and Haverhill is just going to be a hot mess. Thank god that he's getting weaker for each Dante in match because OH GOD MAKE IT STOP... and for the weak looping. Woohoo The main comparision with him is Female Dancer from IDV. The difference is, Female Dancer's ability is more versatile and pallets as a whole existing allow her to do her thing everywhere instead of niche places. I hope he gets some changes tho. Mainly 4 stealth instead of 2, idk.
Basically worse’s chaoxing. Even if it’s used for transitions… Chaoxing literally is better for that since you gain only half of the speed boost since you place lamp under yourself. The only viable place I could think of is hospital but even then, information in hospital is more important than speed
i wouldn't say worse chaoxing. their playstyles are way more different. to buff another survivor chao needs to also get in the action while as dante can just place it somewhere so another survivor can trasition while dante has already skedaddled. tehres more but idk how to explain. can we not compare ever speed boost survivor to chao though?? 😭
I don't really think apostate would counter him; if another Dante or the Dante that's being chased just places a lantern on top of the bubble then they should just cancel out each other. Obviously, what if the killer kicks the lantern? That 1 sec should be enough time to run out the bubble if they have enough stam
imo, he may seem like shit on the surface, but if you use him right, hes actually pretty op, especially if youre able to hold a long chase with low chase stats
Yeah.. he sucks. Just use Chaoxing as her speed boost assists even greater in transitions. His ability as a support compared to others barely holds a candle, and unlike Chaoxing he's heavily situationalm
@@八雲藍-y2j your point is? They're good once played correctly. Literally every character is good once played correctly. Some people are just bad or the killer is hard to use. Their point still stands 💀
