wouldnt it be cheaper and better to revalve (piston & shimstack) and respring (if needed) the ohlins to your needs? that right there would be a true upgrade fitted to your needs (weight and ride skill), and you would keep all the electronic adjustments meaning multiple settings for different ride modes, DES (dynamic & fixed).
Sorry for the late reply mate. I get where you coming from and it makes sense. You can get a good set-up with the stock electronic suspension if the person doing the revolving is good and also cheap. Otherwise you get in to much running around or you ask from the guy to come at the teuck and set it up and that is not cheap. Now getting new internals it make it a bit easier to set it up, you get Information from other riders using the same and it's more simple for me to try to get a bit more out of the technology that some suspension companies have now days.
