Thank you Jacqueline! I use the St Tropez mousse right now ... it’s good but very dark so i only use it once a week if I’m not using something daily ... but if I’m using the jergens daily lotion w self tanner than that’s all i use , it keeps it maintained 😊

I am looking for a decent lightweight concealer to use with It Cosmetics CC cream the summer on a trip. We're going to Arizona and New Mexico, and I want something for a decent lightweight makeup day. I'm worried that my tarte shape tape will be a bit too heavy in comparison to the foundation. Do you think this Clinique one would work well?

I have been loving the Laura mercier concealer! The powder (LM) doesn’t work for me tho! Have you tried channels power? I have mature skin I am 40 and it works great!

Thanks so much Christine! I do have extensions. My lady is AH-MAZING! But when I don't have them done, the Chanel Le Volume Mascara on top of the Dior Lash Primer is hands down the BEST combo!

One thing I have to say if you guys have some dark circles Laura mercier works better, I don’t think the Clinique covers much! Lisa you don’t have much dark circles maybe that’s why you like the Clinique one! Your skin is beautiful!

I went into Ulta today thinking that I was going to possibly purchase either the Becca aqua luminous concealer, the Bare Minerals Bare skin or the Nars radiant creamy concealer and I ended up with this Clinique one! I have so many concealers and they all do different things. This one is like nothing else I have. It’s very thin, creamy, hydrating and seems to brighten. It really doesn’t seem to enhance any fine lines or dryness either. This is my first time using it, but I am truly happy about how it looks! I’m not sure I’ve ever said that before! ☺️ I think this will be amazing paired with a good corrector! (Which they actually make in this same formula). Anyway, I was so happy to see this video since I haven’t seen any reviews on it!

Lisa, can you retest the LM concealer without setting and let us know how that does? And I also want to tell you that I'm totally jealous that you can run in 70+ degree weather and not be completely drenched! I really sweat, and I hate it, but when I run, it doesn't matter if its 2 miles or 5, I'm completely drenched and have to shower and shampoo.... I so wish I didn't have to, because I think I'd end up running more than I do.

I love clinique products. Im glad you uploaded this concealer review because I actually needed a concealer that is light weight that covers my dark circles. I am using the sephora brand and at first I liked it but then after months of using it I find it not working for me at all. I'll go with clinique plus it's cheaper than Laura mercier. Thanks for sharing this video ❤😊 By the way, I am very inspired by how productive you are as a mother. You take care of your family, run errands, girls night out, working out and go for a run with your baby girl... It's nice to have time for yourself as a mother, I'm a homebody but I try to go out at least just for a walk... 😉😊

Hey Lisa, I really liked the color of the clinique. Always just love clinique skin makeup/skin care. So fresh, both products, packaging and counters. The Becca looked like more shimmer? Is that correct? Also, if you do a review on La Prairie, please get a sample of La Mer. Maybe a back to back? I'm like you, probably never purchase but would LOVE to have a sample of each one. Wonderful video, I need a good concealer and blush. Sorry for the ramble. 💕you know I'll be back.

Would love to know if you have any tips on smile lines. We are about the same age and I have them too and hate them😐. Sorry, this has nothing to do with the concealers.

Hi! I would avoid foundations that are very heavy and matte.. or if you use them, just use very little around the smile lines. Also a good blurring primer can help soften a little. I love Hourglass Mineral Veil.. it won't make them disappear but it will help the foundation go in softer which will soften that a litte

Aww, thank you Brandi! I love the Laura Mercier secret brightening powder to set concealer... its so light and has the most subtle brightening effect. really pretty!

Oh good! I hope it was helpful. I am still happy with it. Its starting to fade... to the point where I think I will need a touchup in a month or so.. that puts it at abut 9 months for me... a little sooner than I hoped it would fade but I also have not been super careful about keeping them in good shape (I scrub my brows and exfoliate and use products that I was warned not to use.. lol... ) I just can't alter my routine so much...

I haven't tried the Laura Mercier; but I did buy the Clinique one. I have really, really dark circles so is use the Becca undereye peach stuff; however, it didn't cover up my circles. I might have bought the wrong color. Anyway, they both look great on you. I may try the Laura Mercier. Thank you Lisa💕

Jane, try the Laura Mercier... it seemed to have more coverage... you may not need to set it with powder though.. it seemed to set itself.

Love reviews for concealers....just saw Tati do one on the KKW concealer which looked good too. Hate to be the one to tell you but that foundation also looked great on you!! :) Might have to try that Clinique one....

I'm looking for a great under eye concealer that won't accentuate my dry/textured under eyes. Using enough oil and product, I can get a decent look with Maybelline Instant Age Rewind. I'm definitely going to try the Clinique one from the video since you have similar issues. Thanks for the video!

I am purchasing today; would you suggest a shade or two lighter or darker than foundation? I never can remember how that works. I have minimal dark circles, but do have texture and puffiness (I am working on that!)

Robin Lawson People generally like to go a shade lighter so that the concealer gives a more brightening look but your exact skin tone is most natural looking and works best for all over the face and not just under eyes. Hopefully that helps.

Thanks for the info, Sky! Ended up going into Macy's today for a color test and glad I did...got it 3-5 shades darker than I thought I would. Lisa J, I'm thrilled with the coverage so far...ended up getting hit in the face yesterday, and today have a black eye 😥. Really like the build-able coverage. Testing the waterproof this weekend camping. 😀

They both look nice and not thick or heavy at all. For me, I think the Clinique concealer is a great deal for the good coverage and brightening you get and at a very reasonable price. :)

Hi Lisa, I always have better luck with Laura Mercier products. I have her Secret Concealer (it’s in a little pot). I also got samples of LaPrarie and LaMer foundation, I wouldn’t end up spending full price for either. I did get the Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous foundation and mixed it with her Radiance primer and it’s been working great for me. BTW, I loved seeing your run in Austin, my daughter and I toured that area when we were there in October. ❤️

Beachlife Forever I’m 36 and feel as though my under eyes are very dry and I do have fine lines. Maybe you’re using too much. It’s just a small dot needed however everyone is different. You’ll find the right one.

It’s difficult to take much from this when it appears you have so little to cover and no major texture issues under the eyes.

SO, SO many of the beauty RU-vidrs that specialize in mature skin suggest Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer so I'd love to know your thoughts on that one.

So good to know! If its the one I am thinking of I tried it YEARS ago (has it been around a long time?) When I worked at Saks.. that was maybe 2005 and I remember everyone there loved it.. I was also a BABY then so I didn't really appreciate a good concealer for mature skin at the time, I was all about , the more makeup the better! haha.. wow has time changed

Beth Sullivan I have been using the Lancôme Effacernes concealer for the past 2 years. It works beautifully for my dry, slightly crepey undereyes, and I usually don’t have to set it with powder. I also love it for my “no foundation” days. I am 61 with normal/dry skin.

Beth Sullivan I have the Lancôme concealer and it’s nice but if you have severe dark circles to cover or blood showing through under the skin it just doesn’t cover well enough for me. Even with multiple layers. If you don’t have severe dark or purple undereyes it will work. For me even using a color corrector first doesn’t cover my undereyes completely.

I just couldn’t spend $200 on foundation. In fact, years ago I tried a sample of the Ellis Faas Skin Veil through the now defunct Glambot. I LOVED how it looked on my skin. Best foundation ever. But it cost $90, and seriously I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much. I am always a sucker for a new concealer! Glad you did this video.
