This so so nuts.. halfway through watching this I almost forgot this is a fictional world created by a band… I freaking love tøp man. They are too good and way underrated

Something I’ve noticed with the Trench album cover is that the red tape covers not only the vulture’s eyes, but also the 14th and final track of that album “Leave the City”. I wonder if that holds any significance.

This has the same feeling i got when Trench was getting teased, i missed this so much

Re: sleep - don’t forget Car Radio and the whole “faith vs. sleep” verse! Re: red tape - “red tape” in politics refers to overregulation and paperwork and such, so this could be symbolic of the bishops making it harder for the citizenry to access information!

I think the tape is covering HeavyDirtySoul cuz it has the lyric "mister misty eyed"

when you were talking about the sequence 2 2 9, something came to my mind, what if the numbers represent 2 (Tyler and Josh) 9 (The bishops). Like they are against esch other. Could be one of the reason why 2/29 was a choosed date

apparently also the red has the closest match to pantone ‘rebel red’

I swear I was listening to some music this morning when I saw that red tape and I screamed from the top of my lungs. I love how genius this thing is, I love them, I love you guys (I have no idea of how you managed to decipher all these informations in so little time) (thank you)

If the paladin definition really does play in, I think we can see the Dema storyline as being an allegory for Tyler n Josh figuring out what their purpose as musicians is given their fame. Trench starts with ‘pressures of a new place role my way’, the pressures of being successful artists after the success of blurryface. Now, they’re learning the lesson of being good moral leaders to those who need it, and that’s all that matters as being artists to them. Either way I’m just happy to be back in my irregular ‘twenty one pilots are doing something with the lore’ moment :)

There seems to be a massive connection to eyes and the moon and tide - both are crescents AND circles depending on the time of day. That's important because of the word MOON in the date of Clancy's portion of the letters! I go back to the lyric "did the tide forget to move" and the letter's mention of "where the water meets the sand" - day/night, sleep/awake, low/high tide...all has a cyclical nature, often like depression/anxiety. "I could take the high road, but I know that I'm going low" and "I'm lighter when I'm lower, I'm higher when I'm heavy, oh I'm so high, my jumpsuit takes me so high." The next album will be lessons on ripping off the tape and staying awake ("faith is to be awake") despite these cycles. I think a blue era is imminent (maybe purple because mixed with red) from the glowing city but also because of the letters' blue pen handwriting!

Ok, this is random, but last year around Christmas, I got a “holiday card” from them. I JUST noticed that one of the presents behind Tyler and Josh has “Clancy” written on it.. I just thought it was a merch thing (which it mostly was), but now I’m thinking there are so many Easter eggs on it 😂. Probably not related to this drop, but it’s something, AND it’s been something on my fridge for over a year 😆

The first 'I'll tape my eyes' from the Outside is said at the 29th second 👀coincidence??

If you line up the tape on the albums it’s the incompleted logo.

HDS was the start of the lore and Era, which means *ITS A FULL CIRCLE*

Just typed in the color code and it is indeed 229. However this still dosen't mean it is exactly the type of red that is used on the cover

They hid the 229 in their merch as well. The skeleton clique shirt from the winter drop when analyzed is that same rgb code!!!

The red tape is over their albums on Pandora as well as Spotify. Rebel Red makes sense for the next color

there are eyes on the blurry face cover, there’s a face that is used as a plastic color filter in the viny, the weird thing is that its only covering the faces left eye. hope this helps some!

I have been hanging out all week just knowing something had to happen soon, my prediction was we'd have something by the end of the week and then the way I was notified to something happening was seeing you live on IG! That's when I knew something serious had to be going down! My poor husband was so confused when I screamed there was a new Clancy letter haha! Seriously though, this is just the cryptic lead up I've been wanting for, it almost feels reminiscent of Trench which is super exciting! Cannot wait to see it all unfold as we get closer to the 29th. Will be following along with all your content as you do such a great job at it and you totally match my enthusiasm! Can't believe it's all finally happening again!

Woo, I'm excited for another album. I still need to sit and get caught up with all dat lore. I honestly don't think I realized there was lore til Scaled and Icy. I listened to the music, but never knew artists would take these kind of steps for music albums. Kudos to all the fans who have figured this stuff out, I cannot imagine the joy you must experience going on these kind of adventures.

I'M SO EXCITED GUYS!! I love how TOP music isn't like the common music you see every day. Each song tells a story about this stunning fictional world and it's amazing. Also, it's genius how there are so many codes and easter-eggs hidden within everything TOP produces. I figured out a clue last night that there is a new album coming out called I am Clancy. It was racking my brain but then as I watched the video it just clicked in and I understood!

today is february 29th and the overcompensate music video starting clancy journey came out!

There's actually eyes on the Blurryface cover, right next to the HDS circle! If you look closely, you may see two little dots, and when inverting the album colors, you see two eyes, and what looks like teeth (I'm not sure, but the eyes are definitely there), and tape is covering those as well!

They say they sell the information in those terms of agreement - no chances This would fit with ppl that ordered merchandise recently being the ones getting the letters

feb 29 is today and they released a song. good theories.

2/29 is also 9 days from when the new lore was posted, which was the 22nd.

The letter of Clancy that said inferno reminded me of Dante's inferno. 9 bishops. 9 circles of hell. 9 circles on Blurryface. I'm looking at the lyrics and the circles and what they represent and the lyrics and the different circles. One of the names Lisden (polarize) the representing denial is a start but idk just sharing my first thoughts. That can be a useful source for now, plus have a bunch of different things I'm thinking of but its hard to write it all at once for a youtube comment.
