Thank you for reviewing this, Tara. I’ve seen so many folks on YT and IG automatically dismiss this palette as boring and basic. But the reality is, most of us use “basic” shades in our daily lives; we aren’t out here doing cut creases and bright colors to run to Target or the office. I’m glad to have your thoughts on it so I don’t feel lame if I buy it once I pan some of my Charlotte Tilbury palettes and quads. 💗

exactly, youtube isnt real life. Colors are fun but I feel my most beautiful in a natural-ish soft glam makeup. Nothing basic or boring to me about a "yourself but better" type of look. Neutral makeup make me happy and I get to actually use it almost daily so its not a waste.

I bought this palette (even though I have enough makeup to last probably the rest of my life,) and I now use it almost every day. It's replaced almost everything else for my work looks and I get complimented both by customers and my coworkers. It's a lovely palette and you should definitely pick it up.

I think this is what Tarte excels at - making great, blendable, every day eyeshadow palettes. They aren’t groundbreaking color stories, they aren’t revolutionary formulas, but definitely marketed for the every day user. I think I’m going to pick this up. I love the soft color story and although I’m sure I have these colors in other palettes but I love the idea of having another great every day palette. Thanks for another great review!!

I’m an everyday makeup user. I was gifted the CT palette and I much prefer the Tarte palette. Not wanting the “extra” in terms is glitter, extra shimmer, duochromes. I just want a work hourse easy to use without needing special brushes or techniques to make it work. Don’t have time for that! Thanks for the review. I returned the CT and sent the money to a food bank to help deal with the massive food insecurity resulting from Covid. Great job!

I picked up this palette after watching Mels review. As a very white girl, so many palettes have so many dark shades or the transition colors are too dark for me and I knew this one would work for me. Loved your video showing the looks. I definitely love that you keep in the corner the insert that shows what color you are working with at the time.....SO helpful!

This palette caught my eye the moment it came out but I really wanted to watch a few reviews and was disappointed that many RU-vidrs were going to pass, including you I believe. Ok, I'm sold! To have all those shades in one palette is awesome. Usually the bigger palettes have quite a few shades I never use, but this palette seems to very useable colours throughout. Winner!!! Loved every single eye look (why wouldn't I, you're gorgeous 😍). I'm not bothered by your puppy dog chewing his toys, in fact it made me smile, 😊🌸❣🌸

I've been wanting this palette since I first saw it and I think I'm going to get it. I think it's beautiful. I have tons of makeup, and I've been really into pinks lately but I still think this will be a good addition to my collection. I watched Mel's video when it came out and it looked gorgeous on her, too. You guys are both gorgeous, so no surprise there! But watching both videos does show that there is more versatility with this palette than one might think. A+ Tara!

After seeing Mel’s & now your video, I am in love with this palette. I don’t own any Charlotte Tilbury powder shadows but it seems I may not have to if I purchased this palette. And the bonus is being able to use the lightest shades as highlighters and not have to use Hourglass with their lack of inclusivity!! Thank you for this awesome review & demonstration. I ordered this a few days ago after I saw Mel’s review. I didn’t know if you were gonna review it or not so I went ahead and got it but I’ve been nervous about it. I love Mel and I trust her but sometimes things work out for her and not for me. I always trust your opinion because we’re the same age with similar skin types. Mel is younger and I swear her skin is perfect. I’m so happy you like this palette and now I know I didn’t make a mistake getting it.

I just received my palette in the mail a couple of days ago. I'm so happy I decided to get it. I was never been a big fan of Tart eye shadow and I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this palette. I currently have, what I would consider a medium size makeup collection and adding this was really smart. I also have Charlotte Tilbury's entire Pillow Talk collection ( Christmas gift ) along with a couple of her bronze tone palettes and I still feel that this new Tart palette adds to my collection. I'm so happy I have it. For reference I have gray eyes and light/medium nutral skin tone. My hair is a natural dark brown. I hope that helps someone. Thank you for your amazing video. Tara would you consider making a video of all your preferred eye brushes?? I've noticed that you have very small facial features (like myself) and you use a lot of petite crease and blending brushes. This palette is stunning! It’s perfect for me a year round because these are my everyday shades that require no hard work with blending. I decided to pick it up at Ulta on Sunday since I have 20$ in points I can use towards it. Loved all the looks you created Tara. I’m a Charlotte tilbury collector too and love my hourglass products and definitely don’t need this but I love everything about it. The packaging, the color story, the formula.. Tarte killed it with this palette! Now I have no regrets in purchasing it if you gave it a 10 out of 10😊

Ahhhh so beautiful! All three looks are so perfect! I literally just repurchased Tartelette in Bloom (again!) over Black Friday because it was such a great price, but now I wish I had waited for this one. The quality of CT is certainly very very good, but her products contain Carmine, and my eyes itch almost instantly. Tarte is a great substitute for those of us with sensitive eyes!

I bought it yesterday and I like it. I have the In Bloom and Toasted and love them both for every day looks. I was so excited about the pink hues. I followed your looks today but changed them up a bit, and I have a great look. I do marketing shows and I got so many compliments from people. Even men told me how nice my eyes looked. I highly recommend it over the Morphe pallet of pinks. At first I hated the look I was doing while following you, so I used the shock shadow as a topper and the white from my Paris edit pallet by Viseart, and used Morphe brushes for my outer corner, instead of my Hakuhodo blue squirrel brush; and then it started to turn out gorgeous. Brushes do make a difference if you want pigment.

Mel got me too! I just purchased it a few days ago along with the new Tarte Cheeky Claymate face palette, so I watched this praying you liked it! So happy you did!! I have light-med skin color with a neutral undertone n it’s hard for me to find lighter pinks that actually wear light on my lids so I’m hoping these do but also I’m getting married on 2.22.21 n it gives me bridal vibes 👰🏻‍♀️

Such pretty looks. The rarte seemed to perform well for you. Works well on mature lids which is a plus. I was initially so distracted by your skin being so shiny but in the end you must have powdered and it made you look so lovely.

I’m so happy that I watched this because I was really itching to buy it and I decided to watch this first.....well thank God I did because I have both of those CT palettes and I had no idea how similar they are!!! I like the way your final thoughts are never a quick skip over but usually at least five minutes long. I think I will buy this. I have used the amozan formula Tarte lipsticks and the next morning it was as if I'd nourished my lips. No other formula has done that for me. I may be diving in to ND new nude lipsticks - be interesting if they have similar effect

I have a lot of palettes and should probably find this tarte palette boring, but something about it is so soft and pretty that I was very curious if it would look good on me. I looked at other reviews and most of their skin tones were way lighter than me and one was darker and it didn't look nice, so I am glad to see your review because I can have a better idea of what would show up on my skin. It was also very detailed and I appreciate it. I think that palette is a must for the Spring. It looks so easy to use. And I do like Tartes formula, not my favorite but I like what I have from them.
