Both departments are different, Tata has increased budget for dealership, production, aftersales while budget internally for car (existing) development is decreased. Anyways departments inside a company like tata always compete, so jitna kaam aftersales wali team kr rhi utni ya uss se zyaada mehnat car development team bhi karegi

they won't bring 4x4, it'll be a fail. reason: 4x4 will make the car too expensive and people won't be willing to pay that high a price. majority of buyers in India can't buy cars costing more than 20 lakhs and so they won't get a good sales with 4x4

Yes, they really need to upgrade their features. They shout out on that range rover platform but don’t even bother to add a new 4x 4 segment. Better infotainment is needed with 360 camera bcoz harrier is a big car. The existing rear view camera quality looks like an old Nokia 1mp camera. They could add new features like Sun blinds and air purifier due to indian polluted and dusty roads. Korean brands add this but out Indian company doesn’t even bother. They can put these features as an Optional package like in xuv700 so that people who wants can pay a little extra for these.
