Bot path is best for boss killing. Top path is best for mini boss/strong enemies. Pair them with MT and LG and Jug (opt) and you can just sit down and relax

I think aom should work like infinitynode 2 sniper, once tower done aiming it will shoot with it firerate and destroy target, but aftee target died it will have to aim again
Question: there have been towers leaked over a year ago like: behemoth ( the big tank) armored Vechle, helicopter and war machine (the mech) when are those gonna come?
so railgunner is the opposite of juggernaut. let me explain railgunner shoots slowly but does a ton of damage juggernaut shoots fast but doesnt do that much damage so its like the yin and yang yin is railgunner yang is juggernaut im done
Perhaps a feature where the railgunners communicate with each other so if one locks on to one enemy, and it dies, the other railgunner will move to the next to prevent wasted shots. Because, honestly, 11s lock-in time for fire. ouch.
I think a neat buff for the bot path railgunner would be the ability to see over smaller vision blocks. A good example of this is the small rock next to the spawn block in the moon map. The top of the railgunner is clearly taller than the rock, and yet its vision is still obstructed by the rock. I know it might be a nothing buff, but I still think it would be neat.
(nothing buff) that one guy who placed a railgunner super close to that rock and it blocked must of the pathway for the railgunner to shoot * doing the carson dance *
Like ability countdowns but for reload? If yes then I like it. Even because theres a game called "TABS" where like this idea, not only the troops ability has a countdown but also the reload time(even if the reload time is like 0.5 seconds).
I have a good tower idea, an energy shield tower, requires time or money to keep the shield bubble up but in turn provides protection to towers in range, a good defensive late game tower, first path would be high hp but short range, the second would be the opposite, long range but low hp, path two would be good for weaker towers in large groups while the second path would be good for a small cluster of strong towers with weaker hp
honestly the amount of updates that are being released pretty quickly is amazing, and they are good and working updates as well keep up the great work!!
Hey John I have an idea for like the ac 130 and such, so you know in the beta videos you had access to the ac-130 as like an ability, what if we make it where you can use it as such and for other maps. Let's go a little off track, for the map oil rig we put like a battleship our there( I know its a tower but let me cook) make it a map exclusive ability where every few waves you can pay a certain amount of money for it to fire a barrage from its cannons sweeping the map eliminating most if not all enemies. And so for other maps military harbor or whatever lol since it's a military controlled space the "map ability" could be like a super souped up tank or tanks that go down the path, for the newest map moon base the "map ability" could be like a bunch of astronauts with guns acting like a souped up version of the barracks. Ik this might be confusing but I just got this idea ands it 4am so if it's back and forth I apologize, I think something like this game on the near or far future would be just awesome and also add a new aspect of said awesome game to be excited for. Like cmon imagine your fighting a killer mech on the moon and all of a sudden 6 souped up astronauts hit the ground from a drop pod or moon lander(thinking ODST style from halo) and just start blasting their way through all the enemies. Anyways that's it I hope you take some aspects if not all into consideration and have a great day
Moon outpost needs kinda bad compared to other easy maps, its way too short compared to something like oil rig the 2nd circle for moon outpost kinda sucks because of being blocked by the space outpost
i remember john always being angry at futuristic towers without stealth detection in other TD games, so i was expecting it from the giant AI turret, still looks fire tho
just played expert with it and... yea, it isnt THAT good. but its worth it. its basically juggernaut with more range but less dps, so depending on the map it can be really useful
wtf really? well the difference is that it can't be buffed by top path edj but it does have infinite range hack and a lower price soooooo 🤷♂️ with the cost of no stealth detection and slower fire rate and you have to time the john ability... 2-5 jugg has hd, much less range, costs more, but all buffs considered has 1950 dps without timing and all besides waiting for the boss to get in range
This game has gotten me interested in tower defense games for the first time in a while. The new towers are pretty cool & original from what I've seen, plus barracks spam is pretty funny lmao
completely unrelated note but i do wanna make a suggetion: whenever a match ends (winning/losing) a button would pop up where it says if you want to try again. the feature would be absolutely helpful since that way you don't have to: go to the lobby wait for the map your looking for (some random dude stealing the map your looking for) go to your desired map wait for 20 seconds and finally youre actully in the game. multiple steps that can be completely avoided by just adding a single button this can also apply to teams. also picking your own maps can also be very helpful.
Change restart to replay. Tower still same but enemy will more tanky at high wave.also Expert boss might spawn at high wave and he will have more hp and damage
John, I know your most likely not gonna see this, but add an ability to the barack that you can only use once, that summons the "Hunter", who is similar to the predator, but on your team. He spawns at the back, with 35000 health, and a large missile shooter on his back, similar to eradicator. He makes his way up front, with large range and shoots missiles at hordes of zombies dealing heavy damage. This ability can only be used once, however. Thank you, love the game. feddyfaberplush.
@@jakwilson3439 the issue with this is people spawning 8 hunters. Or somebody trolls and spawns a hunter at a terrible time. Its not a good concept for global cooldowns across players or a 1 time use ability that is super busted since it makes it end up being a matter of "use all of this when boss shows up and win instantly"

Suggestion: Since top path is inferior in like every way(except having hidden detect,which lg can easily do)it having like a small aoe damage or atleast pierce(like 3-5 enemies) would be a lot better so top path can atleast have a little bit of crowd control while bot is purely anti boss
a good tower concept, but the path diversity is pretty meh like this tower is used to kill big guys, and both path specify in killing big guys, so it's not very worth it to invest in the top path if you're stocked enough for multiple bottom I think you should make so that the top path will chain it's shot (basically pierce but always hit) so it can deal with hordes better
Count in for the fact that there are around 10+ towers in development. Some of them already being almost complete, just requiring getting coded in. Stuff like grenade dude, golden ranger, toxicnator, helicopter etc. Which means there is approximately around ten months worth of fresh content ahead. Tds is not screwed. TDS IS COMPLETELY FUCKED 🔥
This game has a few things that could be improved. 4-x farm (tower economics) doesn't show a range to explain what "nearby" means, for example. And top path cryo is kinda useless now that it can't affect multipliers at all. If only multipliers had freeze resistance instead of immunity... 80% 90% 99% would work fine as resistances for multiplier1, 2 and 3 respectively I think. Also, crates and arced projectiles should move slower on moon cuz there's less gravity!!! (The only thing it's effective against would be elite grenadier on expert, but those are all stealthed there.)
Honestly not as interesting as i thought, but a nice addition nonetheless. I'm sure some buffs and maybe nerfs will turn it a into very solid tower. Either way, i've still got faith in this game, and you and your team are definitely going int he right direction. Dont mess up, John... I do not want such a nice game with great potential catching fire and exploding within a year or two...
How about make the tower battle skin obtainble from unlocking the tower from tower battle and make it 100 robux if you are lazy to get it from tower battle
I have an idea. Make top path railgunner have piercing so you actually have a reason to use it other than for stealth guys and slgihtly faster firerate.
