I could watch the first 10 seconds on repeat for HOURS. Killer opening. One reason I think Derek’s team wins these ensemble challenges so consistently is because he understands cohesion. The theme is represented, but mostly it’s just good dancing with some flavor. But the dancing is the #1 priority, and the costumes are window dressing.

Still watch this every so often & it never ceases to impress me. They did a great job playing to the celebrities’ strengths, ESPECIALLY Lea. I LOVE watching her move! The younger ladies were free-flowing, looser moving princesses (freaking awesome ones!) but she was a tight, sharp warrior queen. Love it!!
