Hi guys, I really interested with mechanical item I had a background in mechanical engineering (CAD/prototyping) But, I have no clue about coding Do you have any suggestion for me what should I learn to build rocket like yours? Previously I ever built Autonomous Plane using iNAV but there is no coding involved I am wondering how did you get the actual data such as gyro, altitude and process it through feed back for the engine (control system)

I would like to see how high you can get a single bldc motor on a rocket with say something like 2 to 4 cells of 18650. Could be automatic, manual or rc control. Challenge accepted?

We would probably either have to use two such motors to counteract roll, or use one doublebladed version. Definetely sounds like a fun idea. Unfortunately, we have so many projects currently going on that we will not be able to accept the challenge ... Maybe you could give it a try and let us know how it turned out

@@jmspaceR I think 1 motor is enough. and would be way more efficient. You could have fins that counteract the motor torque. with trial and error you could get the fins set right and use throttle to adjust to zero roll (even automatically, gyro is one way). These dji drones can fly for 30 minutes on a 250g (75mah/minute) drone with 4 motors and a 2s 2250mah pack, now think 1 motor, FC, two micro servos (4g), esc and 1 or 2s 4000mah pack. I wanted to take a low cost webcam pointed down and and FC to keep the rocket going straight (like a mouse).
