Anyone who played the Walking Dead Game will immediately recognize the location that Michonne points out on a map: MACON!!! This was obviously not put there by accident, especially since Gimple pays attention to the smallest details, and it is given a close-up in the trailer. So what does this mean? It most likely means some kind of crossover with the game, and there are 2 likely options for this. The first is just a reference to the events of the game. The first few episodes centered around Macon, and it would make sense to see signs of what happened. The second possibility is far more exciting: Lee and Clementine IN THE SHOW! The show is already an alternate reality in a sense as far as the comics, so why not make it so that Lee and Clem are still in Macon?
Scott Gimple has been promising one big thing for this season: the zombies will be a much bigger threat. It is obvious in the trailer that hordes of zombies are present, more than the show has had since the pilot. In addition, they appear much more aggressive (at one point they start bring the fence down!). Makes sense: there are tons of people inside and they're getting hungry. Add in the fact that someone is letting them in (*cough* Governor *cough*), and there is some serious trouble. While it is probably the Governor, as Tyrese told him the layout of the prison, it could also be someone from the inside, especially with all the new people. The group is significantly larger in the trailer, allowing larger action scenes and increased chaos. The intensity appears to upped to its highest levels ever, evidenced by a few things. First, many intense sequences were shown in the trailer itself. Second, there is a mention of 12 deaths in one day, and 2 were killed by people. When hearing that, one may think that just unimportant characters were killed off. However, the emotions on the characters' faces show otherwise: big characters are sure to die. Both people and zombies seem to be given equal spotlight, and the zombies actually seem more dangerous than other people.
