I don’t think there’s much hope for the 80th anniversary (Quick edit) I have no idea why they’ve decided to use the reboot Thomas as the silhouette, I mean, 80 years man, respect your roots!
Yeah true i mean we should get in my opinion a wooden railway original/orgins thomas and james but in the new wooden railway line (sure we did get a james but ita the 2022-2024 design)
To be honest I'm not really too keen on the logo why would they use the reboot Thomas of all the different Thomas's for the logo why not use the original Thomas that guy's been around since 1946 the original Thomas does not deserve to be forgotten
Well just because they are using the AEG Thomas as the 80th Logo, doesn't mean that they are not gonna include the Original Thomas as well. Because if Mattel only cares for AEG, then why do I see the TWR still?
Hello I’m the original poster of the motorized Henry photos seen at 5:23 and I’d like to let anyone wondering know that motorized henry was found at a Walmart in Canada, there was two of them in stock at the time and were the first items I saw with the new packaging.
I am very surprised that Thomas minis has another advent calendar and it gave me a shock, I’m surprised we’re getting 8 exclusive minis instead of 6 but I’m not complaining (1:39). The AEG capsule plarail stuff looks fantastic and the capsule plarail Bruno is so adorable! 5:15 The Bruno promo art looks amazing! I really hope that Thomas’s 80th anniversary is at least better than the last anniversary milestone
It’s sad how much AEG merch is going out, sure it has good sides but, have some appreciation for the classic series and RWS books, maybe add duck oliver or the Scottish twins, Spencer, and the narrow gauge engines to the wooden railway line for such a huge event, not really sure what to say about the other merch, trackmaster went downhill ertl is discontinued and minis, well maybe more minis but yeah, I would be happy if AEG stopped a and we got the old show back, also maybe bring back TOMY or take-n-play
The graffit packs look fun but im disappointed the truck and the engines don't have it on both sides. Either go all out or go home! I like the talking engine standard variant packs. Diesel's trucks look cool, love the red wheels. Nia's pack has vibrant wagon colors but idk if it's the best look for her? The colors of the wagons might pair better with Ashima, I think. The bridge set looks like the most fun, and an interesting design! "talking" Bulstrode too, what a milestone
The thing that stings me the most with the Bulstrode set, is that we don’t get a talking engine in it: Percy is just a normal motorized model with no talking features in him. That’s such a waste in my book.
The only thing I’m looking forward to so far when it comes to the 80th anniversary of the franchise is the reveal of the Down the Mine pilot of 1983! But still, I don’t even care for the 80th anniversary logo because it’s not as good as the previous ones. 😒
Honestly, the 75th Anniversary wasn't better either. The only really good thing about it was the Royal Engine. Do I need to talk about those Pixel Zoo animated shorts where Thomas literally turned into a fucking elephant in one of them?

Honestly, I wish they wouldn’t market AEG as ‘Season 25’ or ‘Season 26’ on DVD covers! It’s like trying to say this is the same as the original franchise - when, to me, AEG doesn’t even come close to touching the wax of a candle, never mind holding it, to TTTE&F!
I love ❤️ Thomas’s 80th Anniversary Celebration Logo, because it’s cuter and more adorable 🥰 than the previous ones were, and it reminds me of Thomas’s All Engines Go Reboot!
Most people hate the 80th aniversary logo ONLY BECAUSE IT HAS AEG THOMAS Also people think aeg its bad when really most thomas oc's,crossover videos and specially sodor fallout stuff suck

Did I mention it's also Caillou's 35th Anniversary since the reboot has come to peacock with a mixed reception and a bit of a slow start but I'm pretty sure it'll get better over time and they probably haven't revealed anything yet for the anniversary
So disappointed that the 80th anniversary logo of Thomas is featuring the silhouette of the rubbish reboot the only thing I’m excited for is the new Bachmann range Mattel has ruined the legacy of Thomas and friends for me personally and it brakes my heart seeing what has become of my favorite childhood show 😢💔
Motorized Graffiti Percy: This model is okay I don't really have any strong feelings for it but I do like the possible stories I could see made with this 👀 BUT WHY IS THE GRAFFITI JUST ON ONE SIDE?! That Ruins the model for me Motorized Graffiti James: At least he has a tender unlike the last Graffiti James. I do think this is a downgrade from Percy though as James being happy dosent fit at all I wish we got an angry face... and also HAVE THE GRAFFITI BE ON BOTH SIDES Minis Advent Calendar - This is really disappointing ngl. I mean 3 Thomas' as exclusives? I wish we got more variety. Not to mention how Thomas; Edward and Gordon all have the same design so they don't feel as special. As for the rest of the line up... it could be better, could be worse AEG Capsule Plairail: I'm not sure how to feel about thus tbh. I don't hate it but also I'm not sure if I like it either. It is probably the best AEG merch we've had yet though 80th anniversary logo: I'm not a fan of AEG but I'm not mad that that's the logo. I mean AEG is the current version of the show so it only makes sense to use it. Would I have preferred classic or RWS? Of course, but logically it only makes sense to use the version currently on tv. Although, I do wish we got a new logo I wasn't a big fan of the 75th anniversary logo anyway so just having it reused :/
