HOLY COW DID I JUST SEE A SAD FACE GORDON WITH 3D WHEEL ARCHES AND SMALL LEADING WHEELS I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THESE EXIST But seriously with a few tweaks to the wheel design these could rival Wooden Railway
I really hope these models get released. Judging by how incredible Gordon and Rosie are, I can't wait to see their James and Percy models if they come out.

It looks like my theory of why they decided to discontinue Thomas Wood in favor of these engines might be correct after all. ...Best not to get our hopes up just yet.
The fact they took the effort to give certain characters more accurate wheel arrangements compared to what we're used to (except Wood, that was unacceptable), that's incredible.
Please don’t hate on me for saying this but they actually look a teeny bit good. But that doesn’t make up for what Mattel has does to the franchise and our lives.
This is pretty great. Hopefully this is a new Wooden line that’s the replacement for Wood and not a cancelled revamp of it. These look pretty great to me, even the wheels, and I hope they get released.
I hope that this iteration of TWR will actually be good. I also hope that Mattel is stepping on their game on Thomas since their other brands are getting more attention.
This looks pretty promising. The new details are a very nice edition. The only thing I would change is the wheels. Though it confuses me why they now start putting effort into the toys, when the main show is now possibly on hiatus.
i hope that tootaly thomas uk was wrong about the range being discontinued. I'm sure they wouldn't lie but i think they didn't get enough info. anyways these look amazing and i really hope they come out eventually
These look so interesting. I am definedly getting one or so. My favourite comeback are the domes. I also like that the wheels on tender engines are accurate now. I never really liked the 0-8-0 on wooden railway tendee engines, and the wheelarches that are on the side of the runningboard. It just didnt look right. So it shows, that mattel is improving, and trying to get more sales. I am also glad that the wheelarches are round. Speaking of round, some parts arent blocky anymore. Lets hope Stephen, emily and the tenders will look good in this particular range. Some people might disagree about this opinion, but the wheels look so... strange. But in a good kind of way, i like strange models (like take along mike, 2001 Battery operated Engines, etc.), Because they are more eyecatching. I might do a full review on this range, but for now, we will see what this range has to offer first. Thanks for sharing this news, TF47!
I- wow. I have no words for how amazing these look. I really hope that these release, as it seems these could bring in some profits for Mattel from the disaster that was Thomas Wood. These honestly might be better than Mattel's 2013 releases, as the engines have such amazing detail. I am truly awe struck.
I had never seen those Thomas and Friends wood in their prototypes before and very interesting at the same time they had been updated I'm not even too sure if it's unfortunate but it has something to do with season 23 and 24 and that is incredible and for Gordon very amazing updates and he's longer this time instead of being short which was a little bit of an improvement
The good things Mattel has done Sence 2018: 40% The bad things….: 60% But seriously tho, these actually look really good! I don’t even need to point out reasons why cus literally everybody already knows why…. However I prefer the original wheels tho….but the new ones are pretty good tho….. anyways thanks for Sharing this with us! :)
I was expecting these to be reboot designs but actually these look nice, my only problem are the wheels and the flat faces but if i cut those they would be nice, also, i literally went :O when i saw gordon with *10* wheels, the merch is doing well, i can't say the same for the show
These seem very interesting it’s like a down grade in some areas like the wheels and then an upgrade in other areas like the domes I might see if I can pick Rosie up. Very interesting indeed
The sad thing is that these were probably made and planned before they canceled the Wood line, and this may or may not release any time soon possibly, who knows?
