This elevator is the first high-rise Signa4 and currently holds the highest rising Signa4 record. If the record info is wrong though, please correct me, I don't want to be a liar. What happened while I was here was quite a surprise. I got on the elevator with an employee and all I was thinking when she asked if I had a key (because the elevator's locked off) was "oh crap, I am busted". But to my surprise, she said that she'd let me go up to any floor when I told her that I wanted to see the hotel floors. That was quite nice of her, I definitely thank her for that. The hotel seems like a nice place and I am definitely glad I had the time to check this out. The specifications can be found below.

You don't see high-rise Signa4 very often. I wish everyone was like that lady. BTW, you uploaded this on my 19th birthday (February 20).

+Ontario's Elevators Very true, in fact this is one of the first high-rise Signa4 installs found. I consider it a lucky break that the hotel employee let me go up, that was very surprising and the chance of that happening is like 1/20. And happy birthday! I hope you enjoyed your day.

Actually there was a 15 floor signa4 that was installed in 2009. It’s at the Courtyard by Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana

Neat to see a tall Signa4 elevator. I think there may be a few taller ones with the grocery beep, but seems like one of the tallest Signa4's I've seen. I don't know off hand, though. The employee who accompanied you seemed awesome in letting you ride the elevator up.

+NewEnglandElevators I can't find any taller Signa4's, but I do think there are probably taller elevators with grocery beeps. The employee lady was very nice, what she did for me was totally unexpected but awesome.

+Elevating Denver You never know who will be supportive of taking you on an elevator like this, that's why it never hurts to ask. I don't have the courage, to do something like that, sadly.

I am generally not worried about asking to ride a locked elevator. But I get worried when I get on without asking, it doesn't let me go to any floors and the employee hops on. Like what happened here. You don't expect employees to react by scanning and saying push any floor.

These go more like 500 FPM and are actually MRL traction so they are more likely synergy

Someone else said TK MRL maxes out at 20 floors. I'll have to look into it.

There probably is one, just nobody has ever found it. They don't make this type of Signa4 anymore though, so the odds are lower now.

I definitely have never seen a Signa4 panel with that many buttons before! Very nice elevators, and a rather nice looking hotel. I like that they are making use of the new RFID cards rather than the old magnetic strip ones. It's about time for the US to catch up with the rest of the world on card technology.

+WestCoast Elevators I really liked these elevators myself. I am glad I was able to get on with that nice employee to go film them. It seems that all new hotels are using the RFID technology, I don't think that the major brands make the magnetic strip cards anymore.

Jordan Lowe ElevaTours Canada Momentum is ThyssenKrupp's high-speed, high-rise system. It's what they use for buildings over 15-20 stories basically.

There was a time when one of the passenger elevators there were crowded and I was with my mom and my brother and my mom told a man at the reception that it was crowded in the main passenger elevators so he led us through a scary and spooky service corridor and into the nice, grotty and spooky service elevator. The service elevator was way better than the passenger elevators and it had 2 sets of dual speed doors and I had no idea where the rear doors opened out into, possibly into the spooky mechanical rooms and the service elevator was really nice, spooky, scary, and grotty! Just how I like it! Despite the fact it had horrible thyssenkrupp buttons
