In today's video I check out a new Titanic game on Roblox! And discover that lifeboats are pretty important! Join this channel to get access to perks: / @jessegillett Sinking Game: www.roblox.com... Showcase: www.roblox.com...
The cabin on A Deck you where in at 31:20 was A-11 I believe. First Class Survivor “Edith Rosenbaum Russell” claimed to have occupied that cabin. She was among the last to leave in an available lifeboat, toting her mechanical pig which was given to her by her mother for Goodluck. You can find her interviews on RU-vid. She died April 4th, 1975 aged 95, a week and a half short of the 63rd anniversary of the sinking. At the time she boarded Titanic, she was a fashion editor returning from Paris. In 1911, she was a the sole survivor of a automobile accident on the way to Deauville, France. Her fiancé was among the killed. Afterwards, her mother had given her the toy mechanical pig as a goodluck charm. In her later interviews, she said nothing but tragedy trailed her life, which pulled at my heartstrings a bit. :(
Thank you for covering this simulation Gillett! An amazing video! Unfortunate though that you missed the Carpathia scene in the end but still a great work on that video!
20:09 About the E-Deck elevators, it turns out that the elevator gates were not gates, they were oak doors like the 2nd class elevator, this bit of information comes from the Olympic auction catalog.
@@larsolav_larsolav9668 Those were indeed metal gates, it was just E-Deck that had these wood doors. and the walls were also styled differently than the upper levels, unknown exactly what they looked like.
That might not be a good resource for Titanic. By the time Olympic was scrapped it'd had been 20 years sense Titanic was fully finished. I don't have very much faith in those doors being as you said in 1912.
Those doors may have been changed at any time in that 20 year span. If that's not the case and they were like that in Titanics time, and Titanic did have them, then that would be very interesting...
I looked around that ship and it even features the squash court! It’s such a good model, so much work. Thank you for showing the ship because I’m running at 3fps lol.
I wish we could've seen the ending. It includes the Carpathia and the Californian arriving at the scene. But still, this video is AMAZING for what it is. I really enjoyed :)
I’ve actually touched Olympic’s Grande staircase clock and the wall carvings around it, It was glorious, It was ethereal, It happened yesterday and I also saw a Deck Chair From Olympic too!
Have you seen Titanic S.O.S. V2 demo 3? And also the alpha? (Just so you know you need to buy a shirt from the alpha group then go on discord and stuff to get into the group but idk if they are doing the alpha rn)
the people who made it are idiots and judge everyone for everything, i do not recommend giving them more money they forced some of there main devs to leave because the leader bullied him constantly and mods have always complained
I wish VVG's version was this detailed =\ I know it's NOT the best thing in the world, but it's better than empty spaces that has nothing to look at, not even a chair to appreciate.
VVG is working on the 3.0 model (based on the Britannic model) but it’s still surprising how long they’ve used such a low detail model, especially considering how high profile the game is
@@NaenaeGaming This shows us how popularity doesn't translate automatically to a good product. I mean, I know they've done a great job, but seems pretty slow in development compared to other versions I've seen and tested so far. I'm very anxious for the new Titanic SOS, just check their alphas and you'll see why, so much effort in the details, makes you feel in the real Titanic while playing Roblox.
@@KyleBroflovski4u as far as I know, no, although I assume the current Britannic model is pretty much how it’ll look (minus the stretchers obviously ;)
Another way to get to the mail room is there is another hallway on the opposite side of Scotland road and there's a staircase going to the squash court, but go all the way down the stairs
from what i remember (im not that much of a titanic enthusiast anymore) the list of the titanic actually did go starboard for a little while, after that it went back to the port side which was characterized by the passengers on the lifeboats as "moving up and down"
Hello, everyone! Idk why I'm making this comment but here we go. I was on a server with the owner of the game once. About less than a month ago. It was when the new update released. I was with my 2 besties and 3 other people. And right after the ship went down, I persuaded the owner to enable private servers. So everyone is now able to get a private server for free. No one needed to know this lol but true story.
Jesse, is the “ship lag” (when it sort of teleports a bit further down repeatedly when the final plunge begins), just lag, or is it the game? Do you know?
I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure capt. Smith noticed a small list to Starboard, so he was more worried of capsizing and tried to balance the ship.
