It's possible. They already created all the digital assets they needed for the movie and spin-offs, so the TV show would start with an advantage, budget-wise. However, I am not sure how they will maintain the quality of the animation without going over budget (which I assume was one of the reasons the 2012 show was "replaced"). One advantage of it going directly to Paramount+ is that they do not need to release 24 episodes per season, so 8 episodes with the budget of 3 tv episodes each could be the sweet spot.
Yeah, I believe we will get two tv series instead. I have a feeling the MM'S verse's animation will be like Chalkzone unlike the movie's animation in order to save budget. If they do that, probably MM verse tv series will aim for younger audiences. Maybe Nickelodeon are planning to make a tv adaptation of IDW's comic to aim for mature audiences, because a bunch of people had requested it for quite a long time. 🤔 Anyway, I do like your Ghost clad video. I thought it's really interesting. 🙂
I would really prefer if they brought back Rise of the TMNT, but this movie is good a tv show after it could be the next big TMNT show (maybe combine stuff from the 80s show with the 2000s show)
I absolutely hate what happened to that show and how no one fully appreciated it until the movie came out. You know, the one that came out like 2 or 3 years after Nick and Playmates torpedoed the series. I'd rather any new show than nothing, though.
I hope the new reincarnation of a classic series and the 2012 series. I hope April O'Neal should be voiced by Cree Summer or getting the original voice talents from the 2012 series. I AM SO HYPED FOR ANOTHER SERIES!
Guys, I had noticed in the article that the reporter had stated in his last two paragraphs that he don't known this rumors could be true or not, because he had heard another source that there's going to be another series that's coming out in 2025 instead and it's going to be a seperate project from the Rogen verse. I have a funny feeling that MM's tv series will be based on drawings from the movies that had show from the trailer (those drawings made me thinks of "The Wimpy Kid") like TMNT team-up shorts. This will might disappoint fans if MM's tv series will share animated with those sketches from the movie and it's going to aim for younger audiences... If this 2025 rumor could be true, there's a possibly that Nick also are planning to adapting IDW comics into a tv series to aiming older audiences. Because when I was reading in Ninja notes sections, peoples were requesting to the editor that they wanted the tv adaption of IDW's comics...I wouldn't surprise that Nick are doing two TMNT tv series: the MM's tv series's aiming for TV-G (Age 6-10) and IDW's tv adaption is aiming for TV-PG (Age 16+).. I think it does makes sense.
my sort of ideas that this new series could do maybe introduce a new villain bring obscure characters from both the comics and toyline like King Lionheart for example and for my ideas on stuff Karai and Pimiko (Shredder's other daughter from the comics) I could see being sisters as well two daughters of the Shredder like say adopted maybe, Pimiko would be kind of the big older sister as Karai being the younger one. The Turtles becoming a bit more serious when dealing with threats like Shredder, Triceratons or even Krang and Lord Dregg as well growing into their ninja roles as the more experience they gain Casey Jones could be related to the Purple Dragon some shape or form
I wish they'd bring back 2012 tmnt pr use the voices in the movie. Idk, I like the movie just my own preference since I grew up on 2012 tmnt. But I'm hyped!
if its a series I hope it's good. But TBH I really want a S3 for rise. prob wont happen but I wanna see the atleast rise turtles again in some for of Turtle multiverse similar to what spider-verse is doing.
If the movie is good then I would hope for a series ... I really miss having a tmnt show, last era where I watched a tmnt show while it was airing was the 2012 series . Sadly Rise wasn't my thing and it doesn't have what I like about tmnt and it was aimed at children so for me it didn't exist.. I really hope we get a high budget tmnt series..
I think it'd be interesting if the show continues from the movie however it performs, and if the movie does well enough, they give us more movies tied to the show as well. And if the movie does OK but not well enough for a sequel, continuing it as ONLY a TV (well, streaming) show could be possible.
I'm actually working on my own TMNT Show which is 5 seasons. I've written 6 scripts so far and drew 50+ characters. I'm trying to get this show in production with Paramount and Nickelodeon and hoping it does well. It's a more dark version of TMNT like TLR Comics and I have many other TMNT Movies/Shows planned for the future.
@@CarpenterSkates1 Of my drawings, yeah but I’m waiting a few months to post all the drawings. I post on my community tab about my drawings sometimes and I’ll do one tomorrow.
Same here, especially while the original cast is still alive and well. I got to see all 4 of them last year at Sci Fi Valley Con and they were asked in a panel if they would be up for a continuation of their series, especially with all the hype surrounding Shredder's Revenge!
I believe we are getting two tv series. One is MM'S verse that focuses them in high school and aim for younger audiences and another tv series could possible be tv series adaptation of IDW's comic. But or I could be wrong.
After all I heard and saw this video, it’s kinda make since and this isn’t the first time that a movie came out in theaters and then the movie has its own T.V. show. There’s Jimmy neutron boy genius and Barnyard the original party animals. They both had their movies first then they got their own series.
I hope they don’t also air it on the main Nick channel cuz y’all already know how they are with animation when they air something new that’s animated (aside from all their original sitcoms) the first few episodes drop, then low ratings and then straight to Nicktoons. Which commonly happens all the time.
If this is true, then This could be a first for the TMNT franchise as an actual animated series coming out in the aftermath of the recent animated movie.
I would love a new show, but I would want it to be a new version, not at all related the the movie. Thus time go back to basics, and maybe take inspiration from the new comics, and throw in a few of the good things from the previous ones
To be honest, IMAO, a TMNT Mutant Mayhem Sequel Series is the best move as long as Mutant Mayhem is successful because I still want a Live-Action TMNT Movie and I know it can do better than the Michael Bay TMNT Movies. As I explained my ideas many times, the new Live-Action TMNT Movie can take The Batman and Spider-Man: Homecoming formula by skipping the well-known origin story and having the story center around the Turtles’ early years as skilled martial artists, but inexperienced crime fighters. The designs of the turtles should take the Sonic Movie Route by making the turtles accurate to their original counterparts instead going for a realistic approach. I’m also expecting young actors who can learn martial arts to play the turtles.
I hope the new tmnt show is good! I love the 1987 and 2003 and 2012! Their so good! In my opinion rise was garbage. So hopefully this new series is good!
I'm thrilled about the new teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie and I hope that Seth Rogan makes two sequels to the teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie featuring the entire cast of the teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie and even all of the characters from previous teenage mutant ninja turtles series' and I hope that Seth Rogan makes a teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward movie trilogy that's based on the teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward tv series featuring the teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward characters including the dark teenage mutant ninja turtles clones and the vehicles as well as the futuristic ninja weaponry and gravity adjusting gear as seen in the teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward tv series also I hope that Seth Rogan uses the teenage cast of the teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie for the new teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward movie trilogy and I hope that Seth Rogan makes a teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem tv series exclusively for nickelodeon featuring four female teenage mutant ninja turtles named Venus de Milo, Hera, Athena and Nike these four turtles are to be the girlfriends to the four male teenage mutant ninja turtles and they'll be trained also by splinter plus the four female teenage mutant ninja turtles will need to be voiced by a teenage cast also if Seth Rogan makes a teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward movie trilogy the four female teenage mutant ninja turtles Venus de Milo, Hera, Athena and Nike will need to be in the teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward movie trilogy if you like this comment please reply to it also if you like this comment please share this comment with Seth Rogan so he can consider my thoughts.❤❤❤❤😊
This is what they SHOULD have done in the first place with the 2012 series instead of letting Michael Bay splooge his military fetish all over the franchise and doom its theatrical potential. Actually, i thought that was the plan in the first place. Nickelodeon famously launched 2 cartoons as movies, Jimmy Neutron and Barnyard, as well as trying that with Wonder Park, but that series never made it to broadcast. Thank goodness for that, though, work footage of the series surfaced and it's even worse than that movie was.
Interesting. I am thinking Eastman thought it was a good idea that do a crossover with TMNT and Transformers, but Bay wanted to make TMNT as Alien Turtles. I think they disagreed on the Turtles being Aliens with Laird and maybe Eastman told one of production staff to leaked it (Maybe he was mad at Bay, because TMNT were Eastman and Laird's babies). Probably that could explain why Nickelodeon decided to aired 2012's TMNT instead while Bay movie was in reproduction to redo the movie all again with their creators and fans' requests after the Alien Turtles leaks came out.
@@shelliingle571 I don't know if Eastman was involved, but certainly someone at Paramount thought what made the Transformers movies successful would work for the TMNT. It didn't. While there was clearly going to be a cartoon series of some kind, Paramount/Viacom was obviously more interested in movies than a television series. That's why there was a weird hiatus in airing the at the time cartoon series twice when their movies came out, and why the 2012 series started getting shabby treatment after Out of the Shadows bombed. I'd say that the delay of the reboot live action movie also hurt Rise. Why bother keeping a series to promote a movie if no movie was going to happen? Anyway, this is a best case scenario. A strong looking animated movie as a pilot for a cartoon series, ala Jimmy Neutron. Plus, as far as the movies go, this one looks to at least be a strong second best TMNT film. I love the guys and all, but they don't have a great track record. The first movie was amazing and probably one of the best comic adaptions of all time, the 07 animated movie, despite disappointingly not getting a follow up was really good in its own right and had a surprising emotional core. Not so much the other 4, and I'm not counting the 2 telefilms (Rise and Forever).
@mightyfilm Yeah, Eastman stated that he had involvement with the first Bay movie. Same goes for the second movie, him and Laird didn't like the 2nd Bay movie either. I felt bad for the cast that didn't pay enough for the second film. I do not know that Rise was came out at the same time around the 2nd Bay movie. Probably this does explained why 2012's TMNT got renewed for season 5,because it was supposed to last for 4 seasons. I do agreed with you that Nickelodeon did pretty good jobs for doing good animated movies, but mostly of their live-action movies are bad (like Spiderwick, Live-action The Last Air Bender, Unfortunately Event, Hotel for Dogs and Monster Car). Only good movies were Hoot and Holes. I do like City of Ember. I thought City of Ember was pretty good. At least/Hopefully Nick didn't get brought by Disney, but it does looks like Disney is losing money than them. Luckily for Nickelodeon that (hopefully) they are staying around with making Sprongbob, Fairy Oddparents and Rugrats. I heard they are expanding Avatar: The Last Air Bender verse beside TMNT, that's good thing. Anyway, what's with that show Wonder Park? I haven't seen The movie, but what is wrong with Wonder Park tv series?
@@shelliingle571 Rise was announced a few months after Out of the Shadows bombed, but the 2012 series started to get unceremoniously dumped onto Nicktoons, as well as the toy line being cleared out, thus making a lot of the Tales of the TMNT line being almost impossible to find. Especially the Usagi Yojimbo stuff. Of course, that was also the time they announced they'd reboot the live action movie franchise. Now, I can't say for sure that the fact those movies never got into production was THE reason Rise was treated like crap by both Nick and Playmates, but I don't doubt it was a contributing factor. As for the Wonder park series, it was found online in an unfinished form. I never saw the movie, but if the couple episodes I've seen of the show are any indication, we dodged a bullet. Seems like something they otherwise could have finished and buried on Paramount Plus, but I have a feeling it tested poorly and they tried to make it a tax write off.
@@zillauniverse7208 I mean I definitely see a show in rise but I think the show would’ve done better if wasn’t a ninja turtle show what I mean is like a completely original show but with No Ninja Turtles skin over it cause that’s what I get out of the show because it’s so different from the other versions
many long time fans did not like it - for me at least, it strayed way too far from what the TMNT are, the tone was too comedic, the show was overall far too chaotic for my taste despite me giving it a fair shot. It’s admittedly funny at times but after a while I crave an actual overarching narrative and deeper character exploration. This show would have done much better if they did not slap a TMNT coat of paint on it, imo. The animation was superb, though.
Because it was far too different from any TMNT show/media that it was bearly TMNT at all. And people who were TMNT fans before it- like me- did NOT like that. Rise only went with the kids that got introduced to it first.
Something that we’ve never seen before, to my knowledge at least, is a show where we see the turtles fully grow up and become adults. We’ve seen time skip and time travel scenarios where they are grown up, but we never really see them mature over time. I’d love to see that in a new show.
AND I CANT WAIT FOR THE TMNT MUTANT MAYHEM TV SERIES VIDEO GAME AFTER THE MOVIE AND SERIES AND CHUCK E CHEESE TV SERIES AND MOVIE AFTER TMNT MUTANT MAYHEM MOVIE AND TV SERIES COMES FIRST BEFORE CHUCK E CHEESE TV SERIES AND MOVIE COMES NEXT OK
I know I'm in the minority here, but I hope it's a continuation of the adventures of the TMNTs from 2012 ❤ I'm still having a hard time warming up to the animation done with the Mutant Mayhem TMNT, sorry. 😅
I'm thrilled about the new teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie and I hope that Seth Rogan makes two sequels as well as a TV series revolving around the teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie and I hope that the Playmates toy company makes more teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie toys revolving around the teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie, it's sequels and the TV series plus. I'm hoping that Seth Rogan seriously considers all of the characters from the previous teenage mutant ninja turtles TV series' I also hope Seth Rogan even considers making a teenage mutant ninja turtles fast-forward movie featuring the teenage cast of the teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem movie being transported to the year 2105 and being given futuristic gear, weaponry and vehicles as well as encountering futuristic allies and villains if you like this comment please reply to it also if you like this comment please share with Seth Rogan and the Playmates toy company.❤❤❤❤😊
They should keep it as just a movie thing, TV shows that come from movies don’t do well and it will serve almost 0 purpose to any sequel films. It wouldn’t be worth canceling Rise for a show that won’t matter.
It'd be great to have a new show that's actually about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and not.. whatever the fuck Rise tried to do. I'm honestly really excited to have the turtles back to at least SOMEWHAT what they used to be. Hopefully it's a show like the previous versions and not just another comediac insult to fans. #Myboysareback
I really didn’t like the last two TMNT series at all, so I’m sincerely hoping that if a new series comes out that it will explore the turtles and their dynamic more in depth while maintaining a comedic streak - I’m hoping it’s something with an interesting storyline and continuity with some breaks in between personally. I really wish they’d tap into the 2003 energy while utilizing the personality they’ve injected into the visuals in 2012 and Rise. I would LOVE a new series sm. I just want it to be well done and have a good balance for once.
As much as I am excited for the new show, we have to keep in mind of whats going to happen with the AI writing and Writers Strikes going on. Seth Rogen better not get the fine idea of engaging the mistreatment of writers or even use AI then ill lose respect and not watch it. I think that when writers get the respevt they deserve, THEN we should get a well written show and have actually good writers maybe from the movie. But we will see whats going to happen and see if Seth Rogen will be taking the right steps.
