By the way, I forgot to make a suggestion the other day... Wanted to mention to you that maybe you could consider putting timestamps/chapters for videos of this length? I think it's helpful to viewers to jump to specific points or topics. Personally, my attention span is extremely short so I find it tough to sit through videos longer than 15 minutes (technical concepts may also be somewhat "information overload" to newcomers to crypto). Thanks for all your content.
cool info.. i just started my journey into Bitcoin 5 weeks ago im a noob and getting ready to pull the trigger still have some learning left to do before i buy.
Thank for this great intro video I am about to embark on my bitcoin journey. So to understand correctly I should have a good exchange to buy on such as cashapp (since i'm in the US) along with a wallet? Which in comparison it's like saying having a bank and then having a physical wallet?
I haven't used bitrefill for a couple years for anything other than online purchases. I ran into too many problems early on trying to use a bitrefill purchased gift card at wallmart, whole foods and such. The barcodes weren't compatible with the scanners they have at checkout. I wonder if your experience is different. I also used it with papa jons pizza. The problem there was that you couldn't use a gift card for anything other than an entire purchase. I had a few bucks left over but could never use it since they wouldn't accept it for anything other than the entire purchase. Needless to say I only did that once. Of course now that I'm doing the cancer thing I can't have pizza very often these days.
I've had good experiences so far - no major issues but I guess it would depend on the merchant? There's a mall that sells gift cards in Calgary that does it really stupidly - you can't spend the remainder of the balance towards part of a purchase unless you know the exact amount left on the card. Pretty lame way to do it. I didn't know about the cancer... are you doing ok? What's going on?
with steel backups, rail systems didn’t fair well than actual solid piece of stamped steel. james lopp on his site tested all the seed backups he could acquire and gave them ratings.
If #1 isn't "DON'T BUY KYC!!!!" then this is totally a fed channel... P.S. Thanks for your Samourai Wallet videos; has been a massive help to m-..... I mean, some other people I know said they found it useful. I don't know anything about BTC.
CNBC reading the "bash Bitcoin" script with "very Volatile" and "wild ride" comments when talking to Novogratz today.--- It's becoming obvious the no-coiner legacy market stiffs are getting pissed off and frustrated with Btc's dominance.
Great break-down Ben. I’m new to crypto and wondering if you buy more Bitcoin adding to what you already own, does that affect your average similar to trading stocks or does it not work that way with cryptocurrency?
Hey Rob - you're absolutely right. Just as with any asset you purchase, your average purchase price is always affected when you add more to your position. If you buy 1 BTC for $10K and 1 BTC for $30K, your average price you paid per Bitcoin was $20K.
@@BTCSessions Great. That’s what I assumed, thank you for clarifying. Invested only a month ago so not sure it’s worth buying anymore at this point unless there is a big dip. Which doesn’t look like it might happen anytime soon
Thank you for such an awesome video Ben! I really appreciate all of your insights :) As I'm getting deeper into my Bitcoin journey, I'm beginning to question whether investing in the stock market even makes sense anymore, given the inevitable decline of FIAT currencies and the bright future of Bitcoin and crypto in general. I'd like to one day start a company that could facilitate this and enable the general public to support the businesses they believe in, since I think it'd be awesome if we could invest into companies like Tesla, Beyond Meat, Coinbase, etc. with Bitcoin itself to not only receive dividends but also the natural appreciation on the Bitcoin over time 😎 Anyway, I'm the 60th comment and over 6300th viewer, on this very underrated video but I have a feeling it will blow up soon, so i'm wishing you a tonne of continued success and hope to one day join you on the talk panel of BTC Sessions livestream! 😁 All the best from Western Australia 🦘🤙🏼
Additional to your security measures,do not verbalise your backup phrase over Zoom/Skype. These services have the means now to accurately transcribe your conversations
Anyone know where to buy Polkadot. I searched a dozen exchanges and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm sure I'm looking in the wrong place . I tried bybit, bittrex, coinsquare, coinberry, shakepay....etc. I can get it on Binance but they only take Credit Card and they want $321.00 fee on $4,000.00 transfer in CAD. I prefer a Canadian Exchange.
Nope there are over 100 billion dollars in btc right now so it’s just kinda moving from one wallet to the order so even if bitcoin stop mining you are safe
Any suggestions on best placements for them? The sponsors ensure I can make more content but I of course want to include them in a way that is as unobtrusive to the content as possible. Do you think maybe a couple at the beginning and a couple in the middle? Or just tighten then up at the intro a bit better?
