I have watched this video several times and come back to it often when I know I am not using all of the features that I know are in Good Notes. Great video!! Thank you!
I’m not a digital planner but I do haves a note writing app I use constantly. By you showing me some of the stuff Goodnotes does, I was able to search and discover my app does the same things. Been using it for several years and never knew these features existed. Thank you.
Heads up each Apple Pencil generation is compatible with different iPads. If you have the standard iPad you’ll need the first Gen and of you have a pro you must have the second gen
Sorry to chime in, but not 100% correct. I had the original iPad Pro and it used the first generation pencil, and then when I got my new iPad Pro, it uses the second generation Apple Pencil, and my iPad mini (6) uses the second generation Apple Pencil, but it’s not a pro iPad. They charge completely differently - Apple Pencil 1 charges through the bottom of iPad in the lightning port, and with generation 2, they magnetize to the side of the iPad and have no other way of charging. Always check which version of iPad you have to check which pencil will work.
@@sarahkruger496 my advice was for current iPad models. Standard iPads still use the first gen pencil. While CURRENT pros use the second gen. Any pros since 2018/3rd gen and up use the second pencil
I’m just getting started with digital planning and have found a lot of the videos confusing. Your video answered a lot of questions and gave me a much better understanding of GoodNotes. Thank you 🙂
Matte screen protectors like Paperlike do in fact very noticeably dull colors. You'll only not notice it if you put it on before ever turning on your screen. If you're only using the iPad for note taking and digital planning, a matte screen protector is fine. If you're an artist and draw primarily in black and white or just sketch, it's fine too. However, if you're using color for complex drawings or paintings, you are better off getting tempered glass and getting used to the feeling of it. One more thing, matte screen protectors, especially Paperlike, will wear down the tip of your Apple Pencil much faster. They are 20 dollars for a box of 4. Or you can get slightly to significantly inferior ones on Amazon for cheaper.
A fine artist would definitely see a slight difference. But for graphic design, I haven’t noticed a difference. Now, I am not using Paperlike but a different brand, which reviews said was not as rough as Paperlike and didn’t wear the nib down as fast and showed colors more accurately (none of which I can verify as I’ve never used Paperlike). And, yes, I have had to replace my pencil tip after nearly 10 months of daily use. But it was worth it to me to see my writing and sketching improve. I think my advice would be to see the screen with and without and decide which you like better. If I didn’t use the matte protector, I wouldn’t use one at all, probably.
Hi Stephanie. I have watched this several times. Thank you for directing me to this video. What digital planner of yours would you suggest I start with? I'm excited to get started. Also, I've asked to join your Facebook page. Many blessings....
Great video. I currently am a paper planner using the Happy Planner Classic vertical. Can you tell me which download would be similar to the paper planner I am currently using?
Hey! Your video was Rey helpful . How can I lasso the planner title and place it on my planner cover? Prosper your planner 2022. I made sure everything is checked for the lasso but it keeps sayin take a snapshot.
I.e. if I fill out the annual calenders can/will your planner take those dates into my monthly and weekly pages? I am new to all this but very interested in purchasing!!! Thanks 😊
It has been discontinued but I have several other options available in the shop now. All of the details on recent new releases can be found via the new releases playlist here on my channel 🥰
I personally have the most storage available but that’s because I create tons of work for my business on my iPad. I would honestly get as much as you can afford but keep in mind you can always store files in the iCloud or Dropbox - something of that nature - if you run out of room 😊
Hi, if I have a list of dates that I want to add, will your planner automatically add them to monthly and weekly pages? Please could you do a video showing this as I'm really interested in purchasing your planner! Thanks.
