You're right about Hermès having been more famous for silk scarves than for bags and bags weren't so important then. I like a bag with an SLG item to match in colour and type of leather or canvas.

My first hermes purchase was the birkin 30.after that i bought the herbag, oransandals with a small heel and the beautiful hermes leather shoe in black with silver hermes lock.all really good.i want a picotin and some mugs and the cashmere scarf in the large size.

As much as I hate thong sandals I ordered Empire sandal that is supposed to have a rubber sole with treads kinda like Chypre and I got a more dressy version called Elixir like the oran sole that has a slight flat heel. like .75 inch or so. I prefer the one they sent me but I was surprised.

Kindly share on how you polish the hardware on Kelly wallet sangles . I have mine for 10 years now in permabrass but I’m not sure how to start the right way without damaging the hardware.

I personally never had to do anything to polish the hardware but if I did, I'd just take it back to Hermes and let the craftsmen work on it 🫶

Hermes silks are a giant weakness of mine. I have 2 Silkin compact wallets because you get the delicious leather along with a matching silk. Love them. I also have 2 calvi because they are stupidly useful. I have business cards in them, cash, notes, medical cards, all manner of things I want to have on hand but rarely use. I love Hermes china. So much fun. Fortunately I am not a B, K or C fan so I don't need to face that climb.

I thought the belt was Calle Romain and is 35? Honestly I've seen them change names like the Doll 60 wedge espadrille sandal is called something else now it's Elda and has a slightly shorter wedge hight.

Great recommendations! I've been thinking of buying the Fresh boots for the next winter. How warm are they? I live in Finland so it does get... well, cold. Many designer boots look pretty but they don't do much when it comes to keeping my feet warm. Yet, these at least look nice, warm and comfy.

I'm afraid they won't do much for you either. There's absolutely no lining in them, so the only way to make them cozy is by wearing them with a pair of chunky socks 🫶

You definitely need a great pair of wide leg / ballon-shape trousers in heavy wool to go with them for a more formal look..but they'd look equally great with a pair of jeans slightly turned up on more casual days 🫶

The jumping boots are a woman model. There is no equivalent for men but I think they could be worn by men if the size were right.

Helpful video, the Behapi bracelet was not on my radar before, so thanks! I love the Kelly wallet, do you think you could slip a phone into it? I was also eying the GM Phone case, but none of the pictures online show a phone actually IN it so i wonder if that's just the name, not the purpose?
