An interesting tip I found as a work around in Easy Diffusion, to upscale with a graphics card that doesn’t have enough VRAM, I have a AMD Ryzen 9 processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 so I max out what I can make on the GPU then change over to the use GPU when upscaling past my vram 8gb limit and it does take longer but it allows upscaling past my limit.
@@TheCriticalMastermind It's the same as you would for SD1.5 models. Or are you talking about custom SDXL models? For custom models, there is a yaml file that has to go along with it. I'm not home at the moment but will send you a link on how to do that when I get home. @@MonzonMedia hi I did reply but seems my comment vanished, so I placed the SDXL safetenders models from hugging face the V1.0 into my models the same way I get models from merged models and it refuses to graft.
not sure what you mean about merged models, that's a whole different thing. You should be placing them in the stable diffusion folder under models. Your path should look like this. C:\stable-diffusion-ui-windows\stable-diffusion-ui\models\stable-diffusion. The other thing is, did you turn on Beta and Test Diffusers in settings?

What if any options do I have on a classic Mac Pro with AMD Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB? I also have a working Windows drive in this machine if that helps? It's an older Intel machine but it's 12 core 3.46GHz with 64GB RAM. Thanks for making this video as all this stuff is an overwhelming minefield of jargon and options.
Yeah I hear you, let alone how quickly things can change. So for mac you can run ComfyUI, though quite the learning curve and to be honest I'm not sure if it will run on your system check the links in the video for the specs required. Easy Diffusion can also run on Mac and is easier to use and learn. As for the windows machine, it's really about the GPU, if it's an NVidia card you should be fine but if it's using AMD then it can only run in a Linux environment. I can't comment on performance though since I don't use a mac or AMD card. Hope that helps!
@@MonzonMedia Thanks for getting back to me. I could have maybe been clearer tho, I only have one machine, a Mac Pro with AMD. RX580 8GB but it has two bootable drives, Mac Catalina and Windows 10. So running Windows 10 inside a Mac Pro. I'm guessing from your last point tho that having the Windows drive isn't much help because it won't work with an AMD card anyway? Yeah, I'm not sure I want to take on the learning curve of ComfyUI and guessing Easy Diffusion on Mac will require an Nvidia card too? So seems there're no options. Ah well. Cheers
Hi, thanks very much for the tutorial, I am new to Stable Diffusion and just installed it with Automatic 1111. It works OK if I open the browser using localhost:7860 but if I try to use the local IP address alocated by the WiFi DHCP it does not work. I would like to run it from my Notebook (also on the local WiFi network). Any idea on how can I make it work? Thanks

Hi!, just in case you haven't found a solution if you put --share in the launch arguments of automatic1111 it will give you a link that you can use on other devices!
Fooocus is still stable diffusion, just another platform. I'd say it's great for beginners with some advance features under the hood. Not as versatile as the others but very good in terms of simplicity.
Stable diffusion isn't a function like generative fill, what would be the adobe equivalent is Adobe Firefly. With that being said, the biggest thing mentioned in the video is stable diffusion is open source so if you have the system to handle it you can it run this all for free. Stable diffusion goes beyond images into video as well.

I downloaded automatic 1111 with your video help but I don't have web user bat folder in which I can mention xformers or lowvram or medvram . Because of this I m not able to use control net or download new models because of this cuda memory error. I m trying to create human portraits. Kindly help me 🙏 please
