I’ve had my COC account for around 11 years now and will be upgrading to TH14 this year, just got my walls and 1 hero left to go until i’ve maxed out TH13! Its a game for the long run!😭 I’ve had a few longg breaks from the game as it does wear off now and again😅

I wish that you can use your heroes while upgrading them, even if they can't defend when upgrading. Clash of clans is all about the clan wars, so it bums me out how you have to choose between waiting for a week for a hero upgrade or going to clan war. I don't even care much about the loot that I get from clan wars, clan wars are just fun.

Fundamentals still remains the same. You don't need to upgrade storage to start new upgrades,So they can be pushed back. New collector level which if don't play often are in priority like previous TH's. Blacksmith if you you want new equipment or higher capacity. A new barrack if you want electro titan.

Buying hammers of fighting is a huge huge error, because you invest your raid medals in Lab potions which reduce overall lab time to 59% so you will finish your lab way earlier than your buildings now. You overcompensated the lab at th 13 as well. Same mistakes.

The reason why he buy hammers of fighting is that its a lot more worth it than lets say 3 lab potions. Upgrades in laboratory is very slow since its just one building and upgrades can last up to almost 3 weeks. Which lags behind the rest. Not to mention dark elix costs since you'll also need to upgrade THREE DARK ELIX HEROES at this point. Think about the bigger picture first man

Been following you since day 1 Kenny Jo and you have been truly instrumental to all of my progress only downside to everything though when i first started out wasn't but i believe 8 townhalls no heroes or anything like we have now either and although I should be higher than I am currently hear me out all I back then somehow forgot my login information and that led to a complete restart of my game also didn't have account sync or whatever it's called which really would've prevented it now back to my main focus I'm currently a brand new TH13 still settling into it and making sure I'm ready to get back into regular play and although it's going to prove challenging it won't be completely impossible and I'm really interested in getting those pets now unfortunately for me it's not so much about rushing TH levels so much as it is for me to have the utmost variety of troops spells heroes etc to utilize. So far as getting to TH16 i get there when I get there so long as I unlock all heroes troops spells siege machines and pets for me to test and figure out new and different attacks on the matter of the builder base I'm currently BH9 still working on getting my 6th builder too have only two requirements left to unlock btw need to focus on getting a troop to level 18 mine are level 16 currently and last but least favorite one is battle machine/copter to combined level of 45

You’ve got a lot of work ahead Jo! Assuming you maintain the same pace and supercell follows their schedule, this account probably won’t be caught up until just before th 16 I’m guessing. And then from there it should be a matter of maxing within 18 months every time a town hall releases

I know you are not a super competitive player anymore but, could you maybe go over attacks for TH14 in crystal league? You are so knowledgeable about the game and how to best approach 3 star attacks. I really only grinded for loot i thought that was the purpose to minimize expenses on troops and get the most profit (i know that's irrelevant now since the update but, im already maxed out). In war all i can do is dragon spam and queen walk to get consistent 2 stars. With all the defenses and traps in TH14 trying to learn strategy is kind of overwhelming since you have all the troops maxed out but i don't really know what to do with them and timing of releasing troops. I have never been able to 3 star one of coc's attack challenges when the the new base sceneries are released.

You'll probably be maxed within 6 months with those magic items. But until then th15 will be released. It's really tough for you Jo. I don't buy gold passes regularly but man does it help to buy for some months.

Fun fact, u now can use the jungle scenery eventhough u aren’t th14 Just select the scenery, and activate the randomizer, and quit ur game and logged back in and ta-dah, u got urself jungle scenery even though u’re not th14

With the introduction of 150 raid medal +5 potions there's not much point focusing in hero's imo, better to get the pets all to lvl 5 ASAP so you can be fully maxxed for CWL using potions

9:00 Townhall 14 upgrades only upgrades the poison bomb. This is why these upgrades are so cheap. Townhall 14 is basically a townhall 13 with an added poison bomb.

I just recently upgraded to th14 and the first thing i built was pet house and then i upgraded it to lvl4 using hammers lol At first i thought i wasted resources and should have focused more on upgrading heroes but then i realised lvl 75 aq or lvl 50 warden is the same thing as lvl 79 aq or lvl 54 warden. Pets make a huge difference so i would suggest wasting your dark elx on those before actually upgrading heroes

I've been a free to play player since 2013 and I'm now th14 slightly rushed and I get my storages filled to the brim but the only problem is the builders I only need gold pass but cant afford it I have to wait my builders for the normal build duration
