"Over the Hills and Far Away" (Gary Moore cover) and "The Light" (Original)...Vocally I think "The Light" wins, but for shredage I think "Over the Hills" takes it! (but both have shredage!) It sounds impossible! Vocal exhibitionism and refined guitar playing technique packed in power metal construction. To sing just one song in that way is a real miracle and you have to be extremely capable of that.
Its extreamly hard to sing like Tommy, first of all he is singing this in same tune as the women and he sings with such a power and do runs up trough the notes that are crazy. He is amazing. He is the best male singer for me!
You gotta love the guy and his vocals and riffs are superb. That said, it is basically ABBA on cocaine, very stimulating but ultimately not as satisfying as the natural high ABBA brings.
