+Patrick Star Thank you. Driving a stock car is not easy. I race mini cups which is like NASCAR but tjay are smaller and only do 70 mph. They are fun though.
Kyle Petty had 8 wins, 52 top 5s, and 173 top 10s in his career in Cup. Danica had 0 wins, 0 top 5s, and 7 top 10s. Seems like KP was better and knew what he was talking about.

To all the Nye sayers on Tony Stewart: if you've actually ever been in a race car or a racer and think Tony Stewart is a murderer; I'll gladly call you an idiot and I'm sure if you are a racer and feel that way...you don't get racing and at best are a mid-ranged driver. I am a third generation driver and have been involved in the sport since I was born and I've never seen such stupidity of the human race. Those who know, can tell that Tony Stewart did everything possible to avoid the events that incurred. The guy has talent and his records prove it. how many of you can drive a car through an incident without closing you eyes at 180mph? I'd be willing to be most, if not all nye sayers would close their eyes and scream like little girls if you event had a close call in the interstate. the truth of the matter is this unknown driver didn't follow the rules of racing and got himself killed. His ego got the best of him. Being outspoken does not make one a murderer, guilty of a crime or even a bad person. An outspoken person usually will not gossip behind anyones back or keep an argument going. They usually say what they have to say and they are done. Tony Stewart is usually right in his observations and its unfortunate that Kevin Ward was killed but it's not anyones fault. The kid got out of his car and it didn't end well. It is a sad situaltion but dont ruin TS life because he's outspoken. I'm not a fan but i'm also not a non fan. Just being fair. Cruelty is accusing someone of a delibrate act such as this which is a wrong accusation.

Stewart has shown remorse time and time again. Stewart sent a plane for the family of Justin Wilson after he was killed just a week or two ago. 2013 and 2014 were horrible for Stewart, and worse for the Ward family. No one is denying that. I don't know how Tony deals with the guilt. I don't know how the Ward family deals with the pain. I don't know of any investigation that's found the incident as anything but an accident.

Except until they went to ford she never was given top equipment she was always last on THAT totem pole because she actually brought in less sponsor ship money than kh4 bowyer/stewart in 14 newman in 39 and later kurt busch saurez and custer in the 41 Even suring her last year when tgey had ford it was bad to just not as bad as the chevy years where they were giving her year + old equipment because of that Money issue purchased from HMS Bubba walkace and rpm have tgis problem to where their a satellite team of RCR using using year old equipment to

I think Jeff Gordon is the only guy to go up to Tony with broad shoulders. Everybody else didn’t want him. Two dirt guys turned nascar legends who respected each other.
The kid was 20 years old, so yes, exactly-he learned this poor behavior from watching NASCAR and Tony. The track was under caution...no excuses to hit the throttle....he was roost in' him plain and simple. ....it got out of hand. Also, your hero and his mgmt. said " business as usual" the very next morning. He is a hot head and only shows remorse now as so many are not embracing him.
What would it be like if Nascar had a press conference and nobody came to interview these drivers? With the TV numbers dropping and race tracks half full, you would think that the drivers would want to support the races instead of coming off like a bunch of jerks. Nobody ask them to be racers, it was their choice. There may be a day that they will be happy to answer some of these stupid questions.

Kyle won in first ever stock car appearance (an ARCA race) and was scoring Top 5s conistantly by his 3rd season. Took him forever to win, but he won 8 time. Danica will never come close to that number.
The sport has become more competitive over the years...that accounts for Kyle's more recent years in racing and why Danica ruled in Indy Car but it mediocre with stock. Regardless, Kyle still hasn't got much room to talk.
Known for his titanic ego and his violent temper is why Kevin Ward is dead. Stewart was challenged on the kids hometown track in a race that meant absolutely nothing. He wanted to show the kid what happens when you fuck with the best driver in nascar. What happened was an unintentional but it ended with the death of a kid and it ended his career and what he is now known for. For the rest of his life.
Ryan Frank I play golf all day and work on sprint cars. That is racing. Don't insult golf, especially if you can't play it. F1 and Indy racing is just fast and curvy nascar. Dirt track racing is a hell of a lot better
My issue is with the oval tracks. I find any kind of racing in a circle to be mind numbing. I don't even like the F1 cars on ovals. Ovals are to road courses as checkers is to chess.
Great race car driver but He's makes himself sound just as stupid as any of these reporters. 17 years in NASCAR and you still don't understand that they only ask these questions for the people who help pay your paychecks and help put you on the map THE FANS. Come on Tony be as a smart as you want others to be. Rather he thinks there dumb questions or not is irrelevant its what the fans want to know. He's one of the ones who talks about how far the sport has come because of the fans so only makes sense to give them what they want. Don't ya think?
