I’ve tried both foundations and I definitely prefer the matte one on my skin personally. I love the way the original looks initially on my skin but it gets me oily soooo quick. The matte one actually does a great job in keeping my oils at bay

I have combo skin. I love original but at the end of the day nose is pretty shinny. I tried the matte one and I noticed a huuuge difference on longevity. It stayed matte all day. Only down side is I do feel tightness around my cheek area, the drier parts. So maybe combining these two foundations would b perfect

I have oily skin and tried both of these foundations -original and matte. The original definitely was a no for me . The original just made my face look more oily throughout the day. The matte foundation is my current HG and everyday foundation.

I have oily mature skin, I way prefer the new Matte version, it is lighter and more skin like on me and blends very easily with good coverage. The original was a little too cakey. Less is more these days. And the Matte one lasts most of the day for me. I love the new one!

I feel the same. The original always looked cakey on me. I get compliments on how good my skin looks when I wear the Matte formula.

I have super oily skin and I actually been loving the matte one. I love the og one in the winter when my skin is more combo.

I LOVE the Matte version!!! As someone who also suffers from acne & stubborn acne scars/ dark spots but hates cakey makeup, the matte formula stays on and a later goes a long way. I just posted a video showing how I cover dark spots & hyper pigmentation in 10 mins with that foundation.

I got shade sand and it’s SO DARK on me but I’m confused since i have a darker complexion than you but the sand looks perfect on you 😭

Woah! I think the original DOES look better. I'm oily, and personally don't LOVE either of these foundations on my oily skin, but seeing them side by side, I do think I'd pick the original.

The matte side looks more oily on camera. The original really didn’t work for me cause I am so oily lately. I think people can save their money. I wish it was more matte. I think I would have loved it.

i LOVE the original BTW foundation! it’s one of my HG & i’ve repurchased it 3 times. i always go back to it😊 but i’ve been trying to find a similar product from the drugstore & the Maybelline Urban cover has a similar effect on me so i’ve been using that at the moment😊 once i run out i’ll be picking up the new Colourpop PFF😁
