Yo content idea for this game. Can you go over a leaguestart progression checklist. Like after cmapaign, do you spec into mechanics for slates , or candles , how do you know you're ready for different tiers and just take us through the thinking
I really hope lethal flash doesn't get gutted. As soon as i watched the original reveal video, my first thought was about cool things to do with rapid advance (possibly sparkle), or even how the whirlwind whirling blades would interact with his projectile mechanics. It would be sweat if you could send out a bunch of whirling blades and have them come back to you.
I've been digging through the patch notes, if you decide to do a video I'd recommend breaking it down into categories. FYI, some of the legendary hero memories were absorbed into the hero traits.
Actually I don’t like their new way to become less PoE by simplifying mechanics, but at least the game continues to be complex enough to have fun with it. As always high hopes for new season 👍🏻
It's still trying things, finding its footing, and zero-ing on a desired playerbase I still don't know what the game feels like (even since pre-release), it's a floaty feeling of both uncertainty and fun. Time eats itself away when you play it, and a smile rumbles in the stomach, but you feel neither wanting for more nor do you feel satiated. It's like a meal that has a heart made of air, and its flesh and sprinkled lightly with pleasant spices and meat. Hard to explain with words that don't border on something you'd find in a poem
For the crafting i think there is 2 base affix that can't be changed and are tied to the item, so it increases the value of the item on the ground compared to season 1
It sounds like you can still craft up to 3 suffix and prefix though. so is it 8 mod items? or are the base affix like the small fire res on boots and shit like that?
@@samphillips141 The implicit is replaced with 2 randomized modifiers that shows unidentified. Then 3/3 is like before, except they craft different. It seems like a power creep, but we are losing other things elsewhere, like no more hero relic and memories are simplified.
The dummy dps in the path of progression might be an issue. Some characters *cough* Rosa *cough* cant interact with the dummy properly. So the requirements better be so small they dont matter and are just there to say "there's a dummy, dummy"
Tried the game for the first time last season, watched your videos on things like crafting and tried copying your train Rehan. The game is VERY fun, biggest problems are the pets and the poor PC UI, if those weren't issues it'd easily pop off more.
thats why this game doe snot have any miningfull playerbase or lots fo content creator. Nothing in torchlight is consistent. YOu cannot have favorite builds or heroes, you have no idea on meta or good items, because they change core crafting every season, they ping pong end game mapping adding and taking back same things mixed with new, over and over again. completley redesigning half of map mechanics every season. removing skills/ adding skills, removing added skills, constantly juggling with endgame currency and costs for items, crafting match, base crafting cost etc. You can't have a good game without an established, solid core of gameplay around which you build new seasons.
@@sajmon154 At least they aren't staying on awful mechanics like some other games (Hello D4). When something isnt great enough for players, then change it until finding the best balance.
@@guggelhupf They are free only for this sezon. If they decide that this changes have good enought impact of game to remove some of their revenue and add all heroes permanetly free, then there should be some kind of refund for players who already got them
I'm tired of them changing the entire game every season and then going back the next. Think about crafting, netherealm cards, game difficulty, etc. Added deep space, removed it and then brought it back as a new season change. Same with the crafting changes, same with the game difficulty (they nerfed the damage because it was hard and now they're buffing it again). Man, I hope they stop doing this because they're just bouncing between stuff that we already have as an excuse to have changes for the new season.
They're experimenting and adjusting things according to player feedback. I'll take this over the game becoming completely stale due to the lack of innovation any day. Nobody complains when PoE adds insanely complex league mechanics to the core game and flip the balance every league so I see no reason to treat Torchlight Infinite differently
Milky, you talk about a new season a lot better then this weird boi that not even loch straight to the camera when talk about this. Right now i speak for myself and talk straight to the XD studio. Pich next time MilkyBK or similar person. Cuz a lady and boi was bad picks realy bad...
