I love your lighting videos. Its something that excites me as a potential buyer. This car is on my radar. I drive a 15 year old honda hehe. This is will be my first new car in a long time. Not available in Australia yet though. While I love the look of the lights, I do hope that the internal Infontainment light and main intrument panel brightness can be turned down lower. When driving on dark country roads for long distances if the instruments are too bright it can be fatiguing. Maybe that is something you can incorporate in your lighting videos (showing what can be dimmed)
Great car but why no rear wiper ? I hate this marketing bla bla that the wind will blow off the rain while driving . Never works and even if it would work, what good is that when the car is standing and i have to back up ? The car having huge c-pillars and a small rear window already has a very limited rear view as it is, so if the rear window is full of big raindrops you will see nothing at night ! How far away does the Head up Display appear from the drivers seat position ? In my Prius 3 it seems floating in the air about one meter away from me. Is it easy to read and displayed big enough ? I am glad Toyota finally lit up every single button ! Thanks for doing this, it helps a lot because this car is definitely on my radar. I can't wait for you reviewing the Plug-in version !
I wish the interior lighting would go full from right to the left and don't stop only at the edge of the doors. that would make it close to Tesla Model 3 Highland interior lightning
Great night review. I'm really geeky when it comes to how a car interior looks at night. I think you can also change the colours of the lights too. Perhaps dim those door strips or turn them completely off? This car does not arrive in NZ till the middle of the year, so when it does, I'm going to book a test drive. The car looks quite stunning to be honest and if it drives really well too, I'm seriously thinking of buying it.
😳 Just picked up my GR Sport 2024 on Friday, but it doesn’t do that with the front lights when I unlock it. Does it need activating from somewhere in the menu ? 🤷♂️
@@SDADanCars Maybe that will come with an OTA Update ! The whole layout of the screen can't really stay like that. It needs to be way more customisable! Now as it appears ist either navigation, audio or car Informationen. Why not have navigation, audio and car related stuff like f e. the climate settings displayed at the same time so that you don't need to look down to see them ? The screen is 12 inches large, so there is plenty room for mixed information rather than using it all for navigation . If I make a change to the temperature settings in my Prius 3, it appears in my main display. No need to look all the way down to the climate control system and that's how it should be ! As less distraction as possible.
PRO : The new exterior with light design is beautiful . As well the new deshbord and new screen is a plus . CON: back seats same, with half windows, the sell price for this model is higher then Tesla model Y.
