i like the theta's design a lot tbh. i see it's issues and problems but as a CMS enjoyer and someone that uses the pouch more for initial equipment and less for loot, it's going to look pretty neat when it's filled.
Hell no that thing isnt going to be very useful or used in its current state. Especially if you cant reload a mag from your secure container and having to open ur inventory to get the mag is going to be horrible. Thats really the only use i find for it, going in raids no equipment just a gun and mags. Besides that why wouldnt you use your normal container that could fit bigger better stuff

I think the Theta container should be fairly easily obtainable, and the size restrictions would keep the gamma viable. If the container is a pain to unlock then yes, 3x2 section is a good idea imo
Yea this bullshit needs to change in some way or another. Something for PVE to use these things on they find in raid, or remove them entirely from PVE. Also if they don't change anything with Last Hero, thats unlimited free roubles at 200k/15 mines...If that doesn't fuck the economy into the ground, im not quite sure what will.
I mean it's very possible they just left pve mode completely unchanged. It doesn't link to anything so it might actually make more work for them to change it.
So if the new trader is not accessible on the PvE side of things are the GP related changes still taking effect on that side (the PvE side)? Because if these GP related changes are ubiquitous across all modes of the game then it is effectively just removing them from the PvE mode and making GP coins useless. Nikita was literally surprised about how many people were playing PvE then they completely cuck us by not adding the new trader possibly bricking some quests in PvE....
Forcing players to switch between EFT and Arena to complete tasks are a big mistake. Majority of players hate Arena (and doing task`s for that matter..lol)
sounds cool to me. adds to my immersion, as long as it literally lets me bring my actual character and not the default ones. Something about finishing a raid and being told i was recognized and am invited to be in a gladiator type match up for extra rewards sounds cool. Just go back to hideout, swap my gear for all my nice shit, and head right into the arena, then bring back my haul to my hideout. Sounds fun, but i also play arena with my boys on weekends so i guess thats why i dont mind it so much.
Some players just want Arena to be fun by itself, I have EOD but don't want anything to do with live Tarkov, even PVE. I can't believe how badly BSG is fumbling Arena.
I don’t get why some EFT players don’t like Arena. My gunplay and PVP in EFT has increased 20x since playing Arena. Constant training with PVP? Makes me want to W key even more knowing how much I’ve improved from Arena 🤷🏻♂️. I’ve been extracting more and winning WAAAAAY more fights.
May the value decrease works that way, that those coins spawn more often in raids. Like cheap items spawn more often than expensive ones, idk if the mechanic works that way. But its my suggestion. :)
10:30 They are artificially "fixing" problems they created by making a more appealing version of the game. Personally, I think trading limits are WAY too low currently. I dont wanna have to wait 2 and a half hours to get 100 rounds of 6.8 Hybrid, because I take more than that into 1 single raid. Now I have to, on every trader reset, buy the full stock out just to have backup ammo for later. It's ridiculous. And now that there's an event with ALL BOSSES, my stash I had been building up, is gone. Maybe ~16mil rubles worth of ammo is burnt and gone in a few days of using that weapon. Ridiculous. Add 1000 round caps per 2 hrs and just make all the good ammo locked behind quest chains that are late game, or level locked. On the note of ammo, I wanna be able to purchase stuff that isn't horseshit. M856a1 being some of the better ammo you can purchase from traders, means I can barely fight bosses or PMC's unless I'm crafting or religiously playing this game as a grinder. It forces me to use weapons that have better ammo like Sig Spear 6.8 Hybrid, or MCX .300BLK CBJ. I don't wanna have to worry about ammo type being the deciding factor as to what high-end guns I use. I already spent 200 hours getting to max lvl traders and doing all the quests for the better shit, just allow me to buy some cool stuff, and balance the game better so there isnt "meta" guns for every wipe
so the way i understand this point about personal trader limits is, that its only available if you bought the EOD edition at some point, if that is true its not a money grab cause you cant buy it anymore and the way it is written says that you cant get it even if you buy unheard now cause you needed to upgrade from EOD for it to take affect, stupid change imo
Pesty read the part about task limits incorrectly. The wording says that there will be "separate" limits, so you wont be restricted to the same number of operational tasks in arena as you are in the main game.
Might be a weird question...but u lvl presets by collecting exp in arena. but nobody said something about leveling ur presets with the daily quest xp :D is this a thing?
What? I’m almost lvl 50 in Arena and you are wrong on what you said. It’s very hard to hear without ear pro, and the kits that do have ear pro is barely better. Yes you can hear footsteps (that’s the whole point) but it’s not unfair for either team.
The people who didn't buy arena are permanently tagged and bunched together in low priority servers with reduced loot. People who are banned for cheating are also sent to these lobbies so they don't notice they have been caught.

Cons: Can't put surv kit and big junk loot --- but it's a conatiner from PVP content, as you said "it's more about PEW PEW than it is about a loot loot" From this perspective it should be called "Gamma v1"(the EOD) and "Gamma v2" (this theta) and the concept would be more understandable I'm fine with it
Not everyone is level 60 lol and the people that are probably dont care much for arena. I think its more to help lower levels get skills up quicker. Im lvl 23 arena would definitely help me.
doesn't change the fact that there will be a lot of lvl 60 at the "end" of the game 1-2 months before the new wipe.. so the chance to get those people in arena is still high... and i only play arena so im fucked like this. simple fact. It prob would help a lot for low lvl player but its still dumb the other way around. imo
No, they are going to cap the skills in arena, and boost/reduce you to that cap. Just transfers the exp to the main game. But the amount of max strength/endurance/gun skill players running around in pvp is going to be nuts. I wont be shocked if they nerf strength exp gains AGAIN.

Hey Pes has BSG said anything about upping or removing of the ping limit for PvE mode when you want to play with friends? I swear they mentioned something a while ago but can't remember, and if so, then it hasn't been done yet.
The personal limit stuff can not really be called pay2win. I mean, you cannot buy EoD anymore, so the benefit is available only to those who purchased the edition before it was removed
Well, I hate to break it to you, but just because the P2W package was a limited time deal, does not mean it isn't P2W. Personal Limit increases also effect unheard, which is still on the market for only $100 more than EOD used to be. And that is potentially the most P2W factor.... Extra limits... do you realize that means extra ammo, meds, stims, good stuff, and the roubles for flipping that back on the unlocked flee. The fact that its only 20% is the only redeeming factor here, so its not going to make a huge difference. But we are still going to have 20% more goodies than anyone else. Every 5 resets we get an extra reset for free.

the personal limit stuff is certainly p2w, but its just not as egregious as say, cargo pants and a spawn flare for your team mates if you pay $250. As an eod owner, they gave us a fucking btr, NO ONE WANTS THAT. they gave it to us because of unheard edition p2w. What we want is to just put all that extra shit from unheard of edition into pve only. No one asked for extra bullets. Increase limits across the board. Its dumb.
As an EoD owner, I completely agree the extra 20% trader limits are functionally useless. They really don't need to add little things like that, IMO it just builds resentment between owners of different editions and towards BSG.
I was looking forward to doing pvp in anrea and pve in tarkov wish they linked together some how. Right now as it is i dont have any incentive to do it anymore.

Well as someone who isn't really interested in Arena, this patch feels like a bit of a dud. I don't see anything that has me wanting to jump back in for this wipe. Might just wait for the next then see.
I haven’t played tarkov for awhile. I noticed vegetations are different. Is this permanent or just seasonal like the snow? To me it looks like a downgrade. The red plants and grass looked awful

@@SMELLSLIKEUPDOG321 don’t have to link it, just make quests for PvE strictly on EFT. I have a bunch of GP coins from the event that are practically useless now. They already mentioned slowing down the progression of PvE which probably means editing some quests to make them longer.
I hope the leveling of your PMC in Arena doesn't effect the competitive aspect of Arena. Instead of having everyone have characters with the same skill levels you'll have level 1 Timmys going against PMCs with far high skills, how's that fair in a game that's marketed as a "competitive shooter"
Watch as the best ammunitions like 5.45 PPBS which are unavailable both from the flea market and the regular traders will suddenly become available to be purchased from the new trader because BSG wants players to buy Arena or its unnanounced premium editions to gain gameplay advantages, aside from Arena also enabling players to purchase lootboxes which can contain a bunch of high end guns and ammo ready to be transferred to Tarkov as soon as there's a new wipe. This game is finished!
This is honestly the second dumbest move BSG has made in recent months. Arena is dead. It's not fun to watch and certainly isn't fun to play. Having to wait more than 5 minutes to even get into a game kills the experience of an Arena shooter for most people. BSG should just take the L, learn from their mistakes, let Arena die and move on. Finish EFT. Forcing people to play Arena to complete EFT quest lines is a great way to alienate even more of the playerbase and community. Personally, I don't like Arena at all, and the whole quest line to that is chained to Arena will just go onto the list of tasks that I never do when playing EFT. So unbelievably dumb of BSG.
@@mooprph7198 those things (especially the PMC karma) are dumb too, but not nearly as dumb as trying to force people to play a game they don't want to play.
Playing pve in Tarkov is sad. 1. Killing the game. Less players for PvP 2. Fight only AI is pointless. AI is braindead in this game. Just shoot the firing range… same thing 3. The whole appeal of this game is threat of losing gear. With no players in the lobby there’s no threat of losing gear. AI is only scary when there are players around. Please consider spending your valuable time doing literally anything else
