Also watched Thunder RC at the skatepark with it and it looks like the PERFECT rc to take to the skatepark. Also looks like we have our first 1/9 scale. 🤔 looks like Traxxas went after the Arrma Bigrock crewcab. MERRY MAXX 2.0 to who has one under the tree this year. May have to let 2 of mine go and go for the new Maxx after longer reviews and not on backorder. Lol

When it’s flashing usually you gotta reset the throttle/neutral/reverse on the esc. Sometimes it flashes too when the throttle trim is not in the neutral position on the remote as a safety. This happened to me a few times with my Senton

Great comparison Earl, I love the look of the new Maxx!! I never got one due to the extra cost of the wide kit, axles, and poor tires. But now with most of that included, I may to pick one up. Great stuff as always!! Stay safe and healthy!!

Prob wouldn't be to expensive or difficult to just convert the regular maxx into the v2 version.

Ya think Traxxas and RPM had an agreement? Traxxas: we're going to make a Maxx 2.0 longer and stock wide, can't call it a kit now, and RPM: to keep the relationship let's make a Xmaxx wide kit.

I would love to know if the gearing is the same! Also can you look in the manual for a part# on the chassis so I can convert my maxx.

New Maxx looks fun too drive but I think the BIGRock can hang with it and it’s cheaper. That would be a neat comparison
